Answer: Tummy Tuck After Twin Pregnancy?
Thank you for the question and picture.
Congratulations on your twin pregnancy; you should be proud of having “bounced back” so nicely, despite the increased responsibility and probable lack of sleep!
Although your frustration regarding the stretch marks is understandable, be careful that you do not waste a lot of time and/or resources on modalities such as laser surgery, thermage, cool sculpting (none of these modalities will be helpful for patients in your situation).
Also, in addition to the stretch marks, you are likely dealing with significant “spreading” of the abdominal wall muscles that can be especially troublesome after twin pregnancy. This can be a nuisance especially when you are flexed/bent at the waist.
Although I would not venture to give you advice based on the limited information provided, generally speaking, the “ideal” patient for tummy tuck surgery is one who has completed pregnancies, is psycho socially/emotionally/financially stable, has an excellent social support system surrounding him/her, is capable of arranging enough recovery time and who has reached a long-term stable weight.
At some point, you may benefit from in-person consultation with board-certified plastic surgeons who can demonstrate significant experience helping patients in your situation.
Best wishes.

Answer: Abdomen after twins
I'm not exactly sure what you don't like. I'm guessing there are a gazillion women that would want to look like you even without having children! I wouldn't be so hard on yourself. That being said it's not about everyone else but rather about you. So if there is something that you don't like I would certainly support you in trying to do something about it. It does not appear the you need any surgery so I would look into non-surgical ways to reduce small areas of fat (Coolsculpting, ultrasound), and tighten the skin (various lasers). Good luck.
