Cream for Burn Scar from Boiling Water?

My daughter (9 years old) poured boild water from flask inadvertently. It was about 8 months ago. Now the white scar is still apear, though the color is returning to normal. What is the best medicine or cream to be applied for the skin return back to normal appearance?

Retracted or depressed scars can result from scar tissue or an absence of volume.  I would begin by examining the area and determining the extent of volume loss.

Folliculitis can cause PIH and hyperpigmentation. I would recommend Melarase AM and Melarase PM followed by Melapads. Use for at least 2-3 months. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian
