I had a tooth prepped for a crown and a temporary crown was placed I ended up needing a root canal and my temporary crown was placed back on. My dentist is moving forward and putting on my permanent crown. Shouldn't new impressions be taken after my root canal? Dental office Say a they already have my crown I just worry that the fit will be off because of the occulsal surface having changed from the root canal.
