I got breast augmentation November 24th I was a deflated A cup and now a C, I've noticed they’re both very different shapes and I understand it’s probably because I didn’t get a lift but I was wondering if the shape is going to improve at all and if they will drop any lower so that I have more of an underboob and my nipples aren’t at the bottom? Also, I got high profile tear drop but I feel like they’re very round and fake looking will they flatten over time and look more natural?
Answer: Early results will change I typically discourage patients from passing judgements on their results during the early healing period. Much will change over the initial 6 months post op. While there is no guarantee all of your concerns will resolve entirely, many of them will. With regards to your specific question, much will change over the initial 6 months as soft tissue stretches and swelling resolves. Asymmetries are very common in the early post op period. Based upon your photos, you may benefit from a lift (too early to tell). Additionally, the large volume/high profile of your device is exaggerating the downward nipple position. This may be helped by downsize.s always, discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS).

Answer: #breast augmentation Hi SinheadIt is difficult to tell becuase the process of taking a selfie changes the shpa eof the breast and makes it look asymetrical however it looks like you have some pre-exisiting difference between the breasts. Whether the shape changes or not will depend on the plane in which the implant was placed. I think the implant you have chosed is too big which has contributed to the aesthetic outcome you can see. It is bet to speak to your surgeon about correctoin which is likely to be in the form of a lift. Alternatively you can seek a 2nd opinion.CheersDamien

Answer: Post Op - Appearance of Breast, Healing and Recovery Hi sinhead97, I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the early stages of the healing process at 3 months post op. You will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery. Dropping of implants is part of the healing process and this occurs after the tissues surrounding the implants slowly relax, allowing the implants to settle into their final position. It can take about four to six months for the implant to drop down to their final position. Also, your breasts can drop at different rates. But if you are still concerned, you can always visit your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns. This way, you will be reassured. Also, if after six months, you are not satisfied with the appearance of your breast, you can visit your plastic surgeon and discuss the possibility of revision surgery. Lastly, follow your plastic surgeons post-operative instructions and advice for faster healing and recovery. Answer: Will the weird shape improve over time Dear Sinead, Thank you for your question and pictures. Without an in-person examination I cannot precisely comment on your breasts, but the difference in shape could be that one of your tear drop implants has rotated in the breast pocket so as the distribution of volume of the implant is different in each breast. Looking at the shape of your breasts, especially from the side profile pictures, it almost looks like you have got ultra high profile round implants. Your nipples and areolar are situated a little on the downslope of the implants so as they point a little downwards - this will almost certainly worsen with time and will benefit from a lift; likely sooner rather than later. I would recommend that you stay in regular touch and review with your operating Plastic surgeon - they will be able to advise and look after you best. Wishing you all the best. Marcus
