Pulsed Dye Laser + Redness Q&A

What laser would be best for facial flushing? At times where I am not flushed I do not have noticeable redness. Is there a laser that works when your skin isn't flushed (no guarantee it would be at time of appointment)?

I'm looking to treat my redness caused by rosacea however I also have melasma which I don't want to trigger. My melasma is maintained well and not a bother so not looking to treat it but rather avoid triggering it while attempting to fix my redness. I've heard IPL and heat based lasers for redness could be a trigger. Thank you

I have persistent redness in my cheeks and nose. I've tried 3 IPL sessions at a local business, with no results other than a patchy beard. I'm frustrated and I need options! I work as a Reserve Firefighter, so downtime is a concern. Do I have any more options? I've tried Topicals, Orals, everything! The redness is still at large. Thanks for your help!

There are so many treatments out there, what is the newest, safest and most effective?

I am looking to correct diffuse redness (not rosacea) and some small broken red capillaries in my mid cheeks, I do not have pigment or dark spots.The centers that offered both treatments recommended either PDL or PDL/KTP combo. The center that didnt offer PDL told me PDL is outdated technology and BBL is the way to go for better skin and redness reduction, and they kind of put down PDL a lot saying it was old technology and not as good. Advice please!!! Thank you!!!

I got PDL laser on my face (cheeks only) for redness. This was my second session and the intensity was increased. It's been 2 weeks and my cheeks have only gotten more red then before. I am worried the increase in power caused permanent worse redness in my cheeks being that it's been almost 2 weeks and i have not seen any results when the first treatment went well and saw results in just a couple of days. I wake up more red than ever before. Did something go wrong?

I have keratosis pilaris on both cheeks with much redness, I want to have a procedure to get rid of the redness, and have come to believe pulsed dye laser is best for this? However Ive seen that it leaves red bruises on your face for a while after the treatment? If so how long do these last and are they easy to cover up with foundation? I got v beam laser around my nose for capillaries/redness and it burned me. I had blisters and it's left some scars, I'm wondering if pulsed dye lasers will do the same thing? Are they different and how so?
