Two years ago, I went to see Dr. Summers at Southern Surgical Arts in Chattanooga, TN, for a tummy tuck and Lipo 360. But what happened changed more than just my appearance, It may have saved my life. When I woke up from what was supposed to be my surgery, I was told that Dr. Summers had discovered a mass covering one of my ovaries during the surgery. I will forever be grateful for his integrity and concern for my health, he did not proceed with the surgery. Instead, he recommended I get it checked out immediately. I’m beyond grateful for his honesty and care. The mass turned out to be non-cancerous, thankfully, but it was large and needed to be removed. If it hadn’t been discovered, who knows how long it would’ve gone unnoticed? After I recovered and was cleared by my medical team, I returned to Dr. Summers to reschedule my tummy tuck and Lipo 360 and I couldn't be happier with the results! He did an incredible job. My body looks amazing, and the confidence I’ve gained is priceless. What really sets Dr. Summers apart is not just his skill as a surgeon, but also how accessible, honest, and supportive he is. If I had any questions or concerns, I could text him directly and he was always quick to respond. He’s a straight shooter, gives honest recommendations based on your body type and goals, and doesn’t beat around the bush. The entire staff at Southern Surgical Arts is just as amazing. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with smiles and positive energy. They made the whole experience smooth and reassuring. If you're considering plastic surgery and want a surgeon who truly cares about your health, who’s honest, highly skilled, and has a fantastic support team. I would 100% recommend Dr. Summers and the staff at Southern Surgical Arts. I'm already planning to go back for more liposuction and a breast lift, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my body.

I am officially 1 week post op from my breast augmentation. Surgery and my recovery was a breeze! I’m already back to my normal routine just limiting lifting. I highly recommend Dr deal and his team. They are the reason this process from start to finish has been so smooth.

I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair and lipo 360 as well as breast augmentation. Dr. Deal was my main surgeon with help from Dr. Summers. They were both great and I’m loving my results! I’m only 5 weeks post op so still recovering and dealing with swelling. I’m a little disappointed I had to have a small vertical scar because my old belly button couldn’t be pulled all the way down, but I’m hopeful it can be taken care of in the second stage surgery. I love my breast augmentation and so happy I didn’t have to have a lift! All the staff at SSA were so nice and accommodating. I also love that I can do virtual post op appts since I don’t live close.

I live a few hours away from Chattanooga and Dr. Deal was very accommodating to that with virtual consultations and follow up appointments. I got 400cc implants and am so happy with the results! I will definitely go back to him for any other surgery needs in the future!

I am 5 months post op from tummy tuck, lipo, and breast implants. Dr. Summers is a master my scars look so good and my belly button looks so natural. I am so happy I chose him to do my surgery. He is an amazing surgeon he was always very calm and I just felt like he actually cared and had my best interest always. Life changing for me in so many ways. Dr. Deal recently revised an old breast aug + lift that was pretty messed up from my previous provider. I was highly impressed with the lengths he went to in order to guarantee proper positioning, perfect scarring, and the specific type of look I was personally seeking. I certainly wish I would’ve gone to him for the original surgery back in 2018 rather than putting myself thru 3 operations but I know without a doubt that it has finally been fixed once and for all! I would also like to give a shoutout to LPN Erica Rankin who was my caregiver and bestie for the first 24 hrs of my recovery. His partner, Dr. Gardener did a phenomenal job on my chin & face as well. I should also mention that Kelly was a very skilled surgical coordinator as she was able to talk me off the ledge several times when I had so many pre-operation jitters! SSA is elite and I will definitely return for as long as they’ll have me.
