Consultation review - I can't wait to be implant free

I got my implants July 2008 450 cc both saline, under muscle, mentor and never had an issue with them until recently. I'm in the process of getting them removed under local anesthesia-no lift, no replacement. I'm not in fear of the outcome- I've seen plenty of this similar procedure with beautiful results and praying I have same. I was a 34B before BA and currently 36D. I'm thankful for this...

300cc, silicone, under muscle breast implant removal & lift

I had 300ccs silicone implants placed partially under the muscle in 2018. Unfortunately I had a very hard time fitting into most dresses with this breast size and decided to get them removed. Dr. Jonathan Cook did an amazing job from start to finish. He's a very caring and attentive doctor who made my experience very comforting while also delivering amazing results! Highly recommend him as a...

Office review - confident and encouraging about the procedure

Despite being a smaller frame I’ve always had problems areas in my legs and ankles. I decided to try liposuction of the full legs to give my leg some shape with dr. Cook. He previously took care of a scar of my face from super noticeable to non existent in 6 months of treatments. During the pre-op process he was very confident and encouraging about the procedure. The day of surgery was calm, e...

Results were good but my dark circles seem to reappear.

The procedure went great. However, I was expecting more amount of fillers than what I received. The results were good but my dark circles seem to reappear. Nevertheless, thank you for the great procedure!

Q: How safe is the use of mesh in revision surgery?
Answered by Dr. PoznerApril 24, 2024

A: There are many types of "mesh" out there and some are more difficult to remove than others. At this time many of us are using Galaflex (i like the lite version). Its absorbable and very easy to remove if needed.

Q: Alternatives to a facelift 2 years after FaceTite? 41 y/o
Answered by Dr. PoznerApril 2, 2024

A: i have done at least 50 facelifts after facetite. its not an issue if performed by an experienced surgeon

Q: Before & after - what type of surgeon do I need to be looking at to fix this? (Photos)
Answered by Dr. PoznerMarch 19, 2024

A: Figure out what the problem is first then go from there. The saline then silicone exchange is just stupid. Problem is lack of support and a left sided fold that is lower. Are the implants over or under the muscle? I would repair with Galaflex mesh for support and place under the muscle if above. Do not need to change implants unless you wanted a different size. I do these cases every week.

Q: Have my breast implants "bottomed out"? What do I do next? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. PoznerMarch 14, 2024

A: Seems like I do corrections like yours almost every day. Your tissues are not doing a great job of supporting your implants. Correction involves placing some support - I like Galaflex mesh. And I agree a scar revision would help.
