Dr. Gold is outstanding. I couldn’t be happier with my new nose, and with the experience as a whole. Even before meeting the doctor, I was so impressed by how natural all of his rhinoplasties were in the Before and After Gallery. Dr. Gold listened to all of my concerns, and addressed them all. His entire team is great, from the nurses who answered all of my calls, to the wonderful anesthesiologist who put me at ease, day of surgery. I have nothing but great things to say, thank you again!
I could not speak more highly of Dr. Gold and his staff in my experience of getting a rhinoplasty. It’s clear from start to finish that he is very invested in his patients. He is extremely caring, reassuring, and very much a perfectionist - A true proffesional in every sense of the word. Also, the anesthesiologist is excellent and very thorough which just shows their level of expertise so you can rest assured you are in good hands. My nose is even better than I expected. Would highly recommend Dr. Gold for any surgical procedure and will definitely be coming back for any further procedures in the future.
Dr. Gold's last name is a perfect description of his heart & hands! He has golden hands with a heart of gold!! He is a pure artist and protectionist! I had My facelift with Dr. Gold a year ago and totally love it! Anyone that sees me cant figure out what happened and says that I look 15 years younger( Thanks to Dr. Gold). When I have decided to do my facelift I have traveled from Long Island NY to Boca Raton to get my facelift done by Dr. Gold. Dr. Gold came a day after surgery to take off the bandage and 5 days after surgery to make sure I can travel back to NY. You won't find anyone more caring then him!! That would include his office staff as well.
I am so happy and thankful that I had Dr. Gold correct the errors in my prior face lift and my new one left me natural but better. He also fixed prior scars and he hid the incisions that I really had to feel around to find them. I also had terrible scars in my upper eye area and he corrected that too when I had seen many other plastic surgeons that told me it could not be fixed. He also fixed my ears, they were off. I didn't notice but he did. Now I look in the mirror and I see my pretty eyes again and I like what I see. I healed easily. He also has an amazing bedside manner. He has so much patience and a heart of gold (no pun intended). He calls you, responds almost immediately when you have a question or concern. He is an artist and perfectionist and is a very kind and sweet surgeon. I feel blessed to have had him as my surgeon and I would use him again in an instant.
I am so grateful I was referred to Dr Gold from my friend who lives in NY. She had her face done by Dr Gold years ago and still looks wonderful. Dr. Gold has a lot of experience, was president of the plastic surgery society and has more awards than most surgeons. The consultation was very informative and he sent me home with lots of literature to read. The surgery was not really that painful and you can not see any of my scars. He puts the incision inside your ears so they are not visible. Dr. Gold made me look beautiful, elegant, natural and pretty. There is no dollar amount to make you feel this way after surgery. He is a gem of a surgeon.
I had extra skin above my eyes, and below. I read soo many articles about serums, creams and lotions which would help my appearance. That's a lot of advertising, and unreal expectations. I made an appointment with Dr. Gold, and found an office where everyone had a smile, and was willing to help answer any questions I had. Obviously I was a little nervous, but my experience with Dr. Gold allayed all my fears and worries. He explained everything to me , and answered every question I asked. His staff is wonderful, and easily accessible. In addition, I was also scheduled with a lower undereye chemical peel. Six weeks post surgery, I feel and look 10-15 years younger, ecstatic with the outcome. If you are looking for a surgeon who will give you the care, pre and post-surgery, Dr Gold would be the only surgeon I would allow to perform these procedures, and obviously any others requested or deemed required.
After losing over 100 pounds I had a large amount of ugly, annoying excess skin. It made it difficult to fit in nice clothes and made me very conscious to be intimate. I decided to have an abdominoplasty. Best decision of my life. Dr. Alan Gold was phenomenal. My insurance covered the majority of it and Dr. Gold worked with me on the rest. Easy recovery with minimal pain. I look terrific and feel amazing. Highly recommend this for anyone considering.
I was tired of hearing everyone say I looked tired. I was not tired I just needed my eyes done. I had my fathers eyelids and they kept on getting worse as I aged. Makeup was difficult to put on and I often wore eyeglasses to cover up the bags on my lower eyelids and hanging skin on the upper eyelids.
When I was 33 years old, I found out that I have the breast cancer gene - BRCA1; this basically predisposes me to Ovarian and Breast Cancer. In an effort to avoid getting cancer and cutting my life short unnecessarily, at the age of 43 I chose to take preventative measures by having a double mastectomy followed by breast reconstruction this past October 2015 with Alan Gold, MD of Great Neck, NY. For those that are unfamiliar with what happens during a preventative Mastectomy/Reconstruction- after all of the tissue is removed from the breast, expanders are inserted- which will eventually be filled with saline to shape the breast and expand the skin; this helps get the breast ready for the implants. Eventually once the expanders are filled to the size you've chosen - another surgery is performed to swap those out for the actual implant. Having known Dr. Gold for years, he had been my mother and aunts doctor when they had breast cancer, I had no doubt that I'd want him to be involved with my reconstruction. A very skilled, compassionate and excellent surgeon, Dr. Gold was by my side through the whole process - making sure that I always had the information needed to make smart decisions and be confident through each stage of this journey. For anyone looking to have reconstruction - whether following a cancer diagnosis or for other reasons, there's no one else that I'd recommend. Dr. Gold is up to date on the latest procedures, protocols and has an excellent sense of what looks good and natural on a person. When discussing sizing and overall goals/results for this procedure, he took the time to walk through and explain how the process works, what to expect and as we've gone along, always reassuring that things are progressing as planned.
My facelift and eyelid surgery was easy and I healed quickly. I saw Dr. Gold for every post op visit and it did not hurt to have the staples removed ( some friends told me it did ). I had minimal swelling in my face and eyes. The cold compresses felt great on my eyes and it didn't hurt at all. The whole surgery was not difficult and now I feel fabulous and look younger! I was at a party soon after the surgery and I meet a wonderful man who thought I was 12 years younger. I recently married him and I am absolutely thrilled I used Dr Gold.
The two photographs you provided may be a bit misleading, and that's one of the reasons that an actual examination would be best to give you the most accurate answer. The nipple position as seen on the "frontal" photo appears to be below the fold beneath your breast and the distance from your collar bone to the nipple appears quite long. On the profile photo, the nipple position, at least on the left, appears to be just at or above the level of the fold. While a nipple positioned at the level of the fold can be elevated to some degree with just an implant, I don't think that even a relatively large implant alone would give you the most attractive result. A nipple position that is lower than the fold cannot usually be lifted significantly with an implant alone, and a lift of some kind is usually advisable. While that appears to be your situation, it also depends in part upon the size of the implant used. I certainly appreciate your concerns about the scarring, but the periareolar and vertical scars usually heal quite well. I think you would do best with both an augmentation and a lift. While I usually perform both during a single procedure, there are some surgeons who may choose to perform them separately. Be sure to discuss your goals, concerns and options carefully with the surgeon you choose.
