I had a simple Mommy Make-over. A tummy tuck with a breast lift, no enhancement, just to put me back together the way I was before my little ones came along. I will not bore you with the saga of my pregnancies except to say that emergency procedures during delivery made getting my stomach flat again on my own completely impossible. I was done having children and tired of looking like there might just be another one on the way no matter how much weight I lost or how much I worked out. I had also experienced serious stretching and sagging in my breasts due to breast feeding. I researched the mommy makeover and realized that the repairs I was looking for could all be done and all at once. It all came out great and was totally worth it. Though it is an available and viable option, I did not use plastic surgery for weight loss or enhancement. I lost all the weight that I possibly could on my own in the 3 and a half years since my last pregnancy. Even still, Dr. Khan cleared nearly 5 pounds of fat that was tucked away unattached to musculature out of the crevices between where my abs used to be. She put my abs back where they go, my belly button back where it belongs, and removed some material, lifted, and pinned my breasts back to where they were before all of the nursing. I just wanted all my natural curves back and that is exactly what I got. I would highly recommend a mommy makeover, particularly by Dr. Khan, to anyone who is done having kids and just wants to see themselves in the mirror again.
1 week away from sub-mental liposuction for my double chin! Looking forward to seeing a jawline again! I decided on lipo versus Kybella, which has a longer wait time to see results. Any suggestions for pre and post surgery tips would be welcome. Updated on 22 May 2019: Surgery day We had to be at the doctors office at 7:30. They immediately took me back and went over release forms and I changed into a gown. Dr. C then came in and marked my neck. The anesthesia started my IV and went over sedation. The next thing I remember was waking up with no pain and my head wrapped up like a mummy. We were on our way home at 9:30. I was given a prescription for nausea, pain meds and an antibiotic. I have not had much pain. I have used an ice pack on my neck in and off to hopefully decrease swelling. I go back to my PS in the morning to have the wrap taken off and see my new neck! Just got back from post-op visit and I’m pleased with the results so far. No pain at all, only soreness to the front of my neck.
