I had upper eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) with Dr. Thayer at Quintessa about three months ago, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results. My drooping lids were genetic and always made me look tired — this was something I had been self-conscious about for years.

This was my first cosmetic procedure, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dr. Thayer is an incredibly talented surgeon — my stitches healed beautifully and are barely visible — and he has a warm, calming presence that made me feel so supported. He genuinely listens and makes you feel like you’re in the best hands.

The entire team was fantastic. Maggie, the patient coordinator, handled all the logistics and answered every one of my pre-op questions quickly and thoroughly. Mandy and Dr. Thayer made the day of surgery feel calm and easy, and recovery went even better than I expected. I had prepared for two weeks of downtime, but I was out to dinner with makeup on within five days, and thrilled to get my stitches out that Friday.

Now, I feel refreshed, more confident, and still completely like myself — just a more awake version. I would 100% recommend Dr. Thayer and the team at Quintessa to anyone considering this procedure. It’s a relatively minor surgery with a major impact.

I taught Dr. Butz when he was in middle school. He was self sufficient, motivated, and highly intelligent then. His work now is the same. Precise and exact. Thorough. Careful. He followed up on EVERY question afterwards the same day. He is soft spoken and focused on providing the best experience. I had breast reduction and went from floppy size DDD breasts to now firm size C. I just turned 73 and feel a lot more feminine. On the day of the surgery even his nurse told me she wouldn't go to anyone else if she were having this surgery. And he uses NO DRAINS! Pain was never an issue and healing was much quicker than I expected. I wouldn't let anyone else do this if I were you. Take the leap! You won't regret it.

Dr Thayer and his whole team are actually awesome people. Dr. Thayer did my labiaplasty and the results blew my mind. Had a lower facelift, neck lift, and upper bleph at the same time awake! I contemplated for way too long and was sooo scared to do it awake. I can’t even express how easy it was and how amazing the results are. Recovery was a breeze too! Was out in public a week later and people had no idea! If you are debating it, just do it!
