From start to finish, this was truly the best experience. I have always been incredibly insecure about my arms. No matter how thin or fit I was, I carried fat in my upper arms, and every outfit decision revolved around what would cover them. I had two consultations for my arms, one with another well-known Milwaukee plastic surgeon, and one with Dr. Thayer. The difference was night and day. During my first consultation, I felt judged before the doctor even walked into the room. After barely looking at my arms, I was told that liposuction wouldn’t help me and that I would need an arm lift. I left feeling dismissed and discouraged. My appointment with Dr. Thayer was the complete opposite. He actually talked with me. He asked about my goals, why I wanted the procedure, carefully evaluated my arms, including my skin laxity. Dr. Thayer confidently explained that arm liposuction combined with ReJuvion skin tightening could give me the results I wanted- without large scars across my arms! Dr. Thayer’s bedside manner was impeccable, and his entire team treated me with genuine kindness and care throughout the entire process. I laugh about it, but I call him Picasso. My arms look INCREDIBLE!!!!! I now wear T-shirts, tank tops, and dresses I would have never picked up before. Something that had bothered me my entire life is no longer a source of insecurity. I don’t angle my body, hide my arms, or avoid clothes that cover them. I wear them and feel beautiful. Dr. Thayer never made me feel judged or embarrassed for wanting to change something about my body. He listened, he cared, and he delivered amazing results!! My advice: get multiple consultations and choose the surgeon who truly listens to you and respects your goals. I didn’t need massive scars across my arms to achieve these arms, like I was told. I just needed a skilled doctor who cared.

Dr. Jake Thayer is phenomenal at his job- and the work shows! I received a breast lift (no implants) after being unsatisfied with my shape due to weight loss and breastfeeding. The breast lift itself is PERFECT! The results are better than I could have ever imagined. You will not be disappointed. Dr. Thayer was the kindest, most laid back doctor I have ever met. His "bedside manner" is amazing and makes you feel completely relaxed and confident. My surgery turned out better than I ever expected and I look and feel incredible again for the first time in 20 years. I can't believe I waited this long to do it. The follow up in the months afterwards is thorough and Dr Thayer also surrounds himself with an amazing care team that makes you feel seen and heard. 20/10 recommend.

After seeing five plastic surgeons for consultation, Dr. Thayer and his team at Quintessa were by far the best place to be. Dr. Thayer has an amazing balance of being a professional plastic surgeon while also being able to talk to you in a way that you’ll understand. The price was also fair and reasonable when compared to my other quotes. I’m a healthy and rather fit middle aged male and have had puffy nipples my entire life which is referred to as gynecomastia. My skin around the nipples protruded out slightly and the nipples were puffy rather than lying flat. This led to looking unfit in a lot of clothing despite being rather fit. It’s also not the most appealing with a shirt off. During surgery, an incision is made at the bottom half of the nipple line to remove the glandular tissue to allow the chest/nipples to lay flat. The entire process from consultation through post surgery follow up was made so simple for me. I’m several weeks out post surgery and so happy with the result. No more protruding skin or puffy nipples. If you’re a male and not happy with the look of your chest/nipples, go see Dr. Thayer!!
