I had been putting off having revision surgery for a long time. After having implants for 30 years and breastfeeding 4 children, they were very much in need of replacing. There was capsular contracture, which was causing some pain and discomfort, also rippling (saline implants) and one side had bottomed out. I had felt embarrassed and ashamed of them for a long time and it was affecting intimacy with my husband. It was a bit overwhelming with all the surgeons to choose from, not knowing who I could trust with such an important decision and I wanted to hear honest feedback from real people. I am so glad that I found Dr Tansley from realself reviews. We knew from the first appointment that he was the surgeon we wanted. He is very professional, extremely thorough and has such a calm, gentle manner. My husband and I are extremely happy with the final result. It has been such a huge boost to my self-confidence and the whole procedure has brought us closer together. I still can't believe it's me when I look in the mirror!

I was a challenging case due to having tuberous breasts, and my journey with Sugitha involved multiple surgeries to achieve the outcome I had always hoped for. I recently had breast reconstruction surgery performed by Dr Sugitha Seneviratne. I had previously had a double mastectomy with implants (over the muscle) at a public hospital following breast cancer in 2023.  The results weren't great with capsular contracture (rippling) and visibility of the implant edges appearing soon afterwards. A few years later, my GP referred me to Sugitha and I'm so glad she did. From the first consultation, Sugitha clearly explained my options and what was possible given all of my breast tissue had been removed during the mastectomy. I decided to proceed with new implants placed under the muscle and some fat grafting was done and placed around the implants for a more natural appearance. Fast forward 2 weeks and I'm so pleased with the results. It's made me happier to look in the mirror.  During my hospital stay it was clear that the medical staff had great respect for Sugitha and that's because she treats everyone with kindness and empathy.  Also, a big shout out to Nurse Sue who has provided the best aftercare and is always available to answer any questions. Not forgetting Dr Patrick Tansley who performed the surgery with Sugitha. What a team!

I could not be more grateful and impressed by the work Dr Sugitha completed on me! I broke my nose over the Christmas period by an accidental head knock which made my nose deviate to the left. Not only was she willing to quickly squeeze me in to have the procedure without fuss, she realigned my nose back to its original position as if nothing ever happened! I didn’t think a result like this could be possible. The post-op pain and swelling was also non-existent - I didn’t have to take any pain relief at all. It’s a testament to her skill and craft, being as atraumatic for her patients as she can be. I would recommend her to anyone who requires a plastic surgeon in future! Thank you again Dr Sugitha.

I underwent breast reduction surgery in September 2024 with Dr Sugitha, after seeing 3 consultants initially. Whilst all could obviously perform the surgery, I felt more comfortable with Dr Sugitha’s bedside manner, as well as that of her whole team. And, they did not disappoint! Surgery was undertaken at Frances Perry, with follow up appointments and light treatment at her Essendon clinic. Dr Sugitha, Nurses Sue and Helena, as well as Kim and all the support staff were amazing. Pain was managed perfectly, scar treatment and long term post operative treatment is ongoing and doing really well. I am thrilled with the results so far and cannot recommend Dr Sugitha and her team more highly.

I recently had breast reduction surgery with Sugitha in late January. I was suffering with terrible back pain and I hated the way my breasts looked. Having this procedure was the best decision I have ever made, it has been absolutely life changing and Sugitha and her staff have been there the whole way to support me. I haven't experienced back pain in months and my chest is incredibly symmetric and very well shaped! Sugitha was lovely in every consultation and listened to all my concerns. I am a new person after surgery, I finally have the confidence to wear clothes again, I no longer have rashes and crippling back and neck pain and I am eternally grateful for Sugitha and her team that made this all possible.

At the end of March last year, I had a breast reduction with Dr. Sugitha and it changed my life! Before the surgery, I consulted with three other surgeons, but none of them made me feel as comfortable as Dr. Sugitha. She has such a calming, mature energy, and you can immediately tell from her experience and career that she is exceptional. When I spoke to her about my concerns, she made me feel heard, never embarrassed or judged. I'm 28, and I've had large breasts my whole life. One was an E cup and the other was smaller (maybe a D) and saggy, which impacted my self esteem and health. We talked about my goals, and we agreed to aim for a C cup. She went over every detail of the procedure thoroughly. Before the surgery, I was a little nervous but I felt comfortable at the hospital. It was so professional, and the staff made me feel better. The surgery felt like it went in a second and recovery started. For the first couple of weeks, I focused on resting my body but honestly, I didn't feel pain just some swelling, which is normal. Now in February 2025, I still have some swelling, but the results are great, and I get swollen more around my period or specific times of my hormonal cycle. The final result is a C cup, and my body looks more symmetrical. I constantly get compliments, and I can finally wear anything which includes dresses, bikinis and i don't even wear wired bras, only bralettes. The scars have faded a lot, Helena and Sue (who work in the surgery office) had me doing LED light treatments, and I’ve been wearing sticky pads to flatten the nipple scar. By July and August, I was able to go on a trip to Europe, I wore all the bikinis I wanted to, and my shoulders no longer hurt. My confidence has improved so much since the surgery and I'm even back at the gym lifting weights which is already easier due to the relief in back pain. I can’t recommend Dr. Sugitha enough to anyone.

Dr Seneviratne is an amazing surgeon who is professional, skilled and goes above and beyond to deliver the results I could only have dreamed were possible. Her approach is direct, compassionate and extremely professional. Not only is my breathing now perfectly functional, I also have a beautifully shaped nose that has caused me insecurity for many years. Wish I had have found her 20 years ago. I would thoroughly recommend her.

I started seeing Dr Sugitha Seneviratne to discuss skin removal post weight loss. As I have a number of other medical conditions, it makes me a complicated patient but she was more than willing and able to work with me for this much needed procedure. While I had a number of post operative complications, because of those pre-existing medical conditions, Sugitha and the rest of the amazing team at NorthEast Plastic Surgery handled it all wonderfully. Every issue was handled proactively and what could have become major life-threatening issues were all dealt with quickly and well before they got to that point. I cannot recommend Dr Seneviratne more highly. She and her team have all been wonderful. They work together to provide amazing care before, during and after surgery. I will be going back there if I need any further operations.
