Thank You and a Recommendation for Dr Seneviratne

I would totally recommend Dr Seneviratne and her team if you are considering skin removal surgery. It’s not just the surgery/surgeon but there is a whole team I wish to acknowledge:
Surgical Team,
Aftercare Team,
Administration Support Team.
I believe it’s so important to mention these important people as Dr Seneviratne could not do her work without them.

I had the pleasure to meet Dr Seneviratne many years ago after I had a small operation on my ears, then again when my mother had several skin cancer issues.

So, when I decided to have skin removal surgery after weight loss (49kgs) I knew who I was going to see for a thigh and upper arm reduction.

I found Dr Seneviratne always welcoming and made me feel as if I was her only patient, understanding to one’s issues and the impact these would have on a person’s daily life.

Please understand the teams involved in your surgery are there to support you but as the patient you also need to do your job, follow instructions for your after care. It’s important to wear any special compression garment. Yes, they can be uncomfortable for the while but it so important for good results, massaging the site or sites daily and maybe twice daily and attending follow up appointments.

I personally had some issues over a weekend that I was concerned about. I contacted the Practice Nurse (Sue) and she reassured me everything was ok. Please understanding they are there to help you - an excellent service.

I will finish with what I started with, I would totally recommend Dr Seneviratne and her team.
