Full Facelift /Necklift /Chin Reduction - Exceeded Expectations in Every Way!

Safety, Results, Budget, Communication, Comfort, and, ability to do this on my own without a companion. These were the criteria I required to be able to move forward. Dr. Ercan and his team exceeded every one of these priorities /criteria! A little about me: I am 60 years old, female, and live in the north Los Angeles area. I had been researching plastic surgeons for about two years…but...

It's been 6 months now and everything healed beautifully

Let me tell you that symmastia complication is the hardest one to fix. It's the uniboob that not only looks bad but it's painful. I got two BAs with another surgeon in Istanbul and both left me with symmastia, he ghosted me and stopped responding to me after the second surgery. I won't lie the entire process was traumatizing! Depressing! I did extensive research and found Dr. Ercan, he is such...

Q: It is possible that the doctor is lying to me? He is doing endoscoping lifting and not a deep plane
Answered by Dr. KaracaogluDecember 17, 2023

A: It is not true to say that 'Deep plane can not combined with mid face lifting. ' Midface-lifting surgery is challenging owing to the difficulty of adequately releasing the soft tissues overlying the zygomaticomaxillary region. And it is also challenging to resuspend them effectively. A comparison of the extended transtemporal midface-lift and deep-plane face- lift had been performed almost 13 years ago by a group of well known deep plane surgeons and they demonstrated that there was statistically significant advantage of the transtemporal midface-lift on elevating the nasolabial fold, particularly the melolabial suspension suture. If you have prominent melolabial and nasolabial folds then this combination will most probably ensure the best satisfactory result. This study is published in one of the peer viewed journals. Details can be seen there (Arch Facial Plast Surg. 2010;12(5):339-341) Briefly, deep plane lifting can be fruitfully combined with mid face lifting. Best wishes,

Q: My doctor says he will operate with a deep plane endoscope, is such a thing possible?

Q: How Much Does a Lower Face Lift Cost?
Answered by Dr. KaracaogluApril 14, 2019

A: The cost of lower face lift depends on the  number of procedures needed to be down for a perfect result. Some people needs only skin tightening while some others require deep SMAS lifting with  submandibular gland or digastric muscles tightening and suspending. Some others would need platysmaplasty which is a hammock procedure of the neck tissues.  Depending on exactly what is being done, this can vary.  I would consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in facelift and lower facelift procedures.  Here you will have a full evaluation and be able to discuss your goals for surgery.

Q: 3 weeks post-op. I can't open my mouth all the way. What is the usual outcome of a situation like mine? (photos)
Answered by Dr. KaracaogluApril 13, 2019

A: Recovery after face lıft varies from people to people. Some sort of weakness can happen and it is temporary. You are best to return to your surgeon for exam and evaluation.

Q: How to Repairs my Hallow/sunken Eyes? (photo)
Answered by Dr. KaracaogluApril 13, 2019

A: Thank you for supplying your photo with your question. This is a commonly asked question during  consultation. The hollow area ( sometimes with bulging sometimes just hollow, sometimes hollow with dark circles) beneath your eye is not uncommon. It might be in too many forms and combinations. Sometimes only hollow and sometimes hollow and protruding fat pads of the lower eye area. Sometimes  this hollow extends outer part of eye area.  The reason is often both soft tissue and bone related.

There are few options to treat this problem. On elf the best option is mid face lifting with lower eyelid lift. This is a 1 hour procedure. Recovery takes one week . It is not a painful procedure. Sometimes an implant can be added to the procedure. Fillers can be solution only for certain forms and the results of surgery and fillers can not be compared.

I strongly recommend you visit a board certified plastic surgeon in your neighborhood.
