Edelstein Cosmetic - Toronto

I just recently completed my tummy tuck, wanting to make some updates to see if my recovery is similar to other people!? Cause I'm strugggglllliinngg. In 2017 I weighed the most I ever had at 266 lbs and in a year and a half I got down to 145 lbs with a weight loss of around 120. I was left with a substantial amount of loose skin and finally decided to get a tummy tuck.

Little update of the days cause I started late.
Day 1 was hell- after surgery in the hospital I was okay and felt quite good. The second I got home my entire body ached. Going to the bathroom took two people and a cane. Sitting and rising was excruciating. Couldn’t eat anything cause everytime I did I just threw it up.
Day 2. Was pretty much the same I found it almost impossible to walk even just to get to the bathroom. My incision site felt like it was on fire ( yes I was hunched over ) and I just was miserable.
Day 03 was a little better I forced myself to walk around the house a bit but my back muscles hurt the most than they ever had in my life. Sitting down in the same spot for longer than 2 hours hurt my butt. Lots and lots of naps. And I finally migrated to the couch which was oddly more comfortable than my bed. My drains almost stopped draining and have turned a yellow colour so I’m hoping to get this out ASAP because they’re super annoying.
Day 04 was a bit better with pain management I can walk more places around my house without help but I get out of breath easy and my back is still in a lot of pain. I had trouble staying awake today and slept almost the whole day. I’ve started rubbing arnica gel on my back and tummy to help with the swelling.

Yesterday was the first day I felt great. I’m walking around way more ( standing a little straighter ) and took no pain medication. Had a home care nurse tell me that my drains can come out Saturday which I’m excited for and super scared at the same time. Does anybody HATE their binder ? Causes me so get itchy Indentations, always sliding up and making my circulation feel funny. So I bought a foam board to try and keep the same compression but the garment itself from making marks on my skin. The whole day was great. But come bed time when I was trying to sleep I randomly felt nauseous and took an anti nausea pill. Which for whatever reason made me body all ti tingly and numb ? And I got zero sleep at all. Here’s to another day hopefully of no pain.

Dr. Edelstein is an excellent choice for a plastic surgeon located in Toronto. After dedicating some time to research and browsing through multiple considerations, he was my final choice and I couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend the Edelstein cosmetic clinic and his team to all of those looking for attention to detail and perfection. To start, I am 5' 2" and around 135 pounds. I started with about a B cup size bra. I sometimes wore a C cup, but did NOT come close to filling it out at all! I am now a D/DD depending on the bra and I AM IN LOVE WITH MY NEW BOOBS!!!!!! I chose to write this review because before my surgery, I read reviews for hours and hours. I was more nervous than I can even explain and reviews helped me so much! For so many reasons I was back and forth between actually going through with the procedure. I am not a "fake" kind of girl at all, so this decision was HUUUUUGE for me. I am extremely into fitness. I workout heavily...typically 6-7 days a week and this was a decision that took me 10 years to finally go through with. AND LET ME TELL YOU, I couldn't have asked for a better doctor, more comfortable experience, and any better results than I received from Dr. Jindal! I originally booked with Dr. Edelstein, but unfortunately one week before my surgery date, an emergency came up and he was no longer able to do the surgery so they offered me Dr. Jindal on basically the same date. At first, I was so upset and angry because I already had my mind set after I had met Dr. Edelstein, and as you can imagine, you want to feel 100% comfortable before making this kind of decision. To me it was a major one. I decided to see Dr. Jindal a couple days before the surgery and was going to decide after I met him whether I was going to make the switch or not. I kid you not, the second he walked into the office, I already made up my mind. He was caring, understanding, and answered every single question I had. My new boobs are perfect. Literally perfect. I healed better and faster than expected. Day 2 was awful, but that was the worst of it! The job he did exceeded my expectations and I would recommend him over and over and over. My one piece of advice is go with the BIGGER size!! They give you sizes that will fit your body. A range of what you might like. I had heard so many times, ALWAYS GO BIGGER. Thank you, thank you, thank you Dr. Jindal and the team at Edelstein cosmetics! You guys are truly amazing! You changed my life!!

Absolutely fantastic Doctor and team to work with. I went in for an inverted nipple correction, something that I've been shy about for many years. Doctor Jindal sat me down, talked to me about the procedure, risks, and expected results, and he and his team were easy to work with, reassuring, and easy to get into contact with in order to make sure that post-op care was met. After I healed up and got the stitches removes, the results were like night and day: I went from being very shy about my breasts to being incredibly confident about them — my "girls" are my favourite accessory to any outfit! Highly recommended doctor, and I'd definitely go to Edelstein Cosmetics in the future to get more work done. PS: Should be said, Doctor Jindal's has excellent musical taste as well! Surgery was slightly less scary with good tunes playing. :)

THE BEGGINING BEFORE LIPO Where do I start? This entire experiance has been amazing. I'm 26 years old but since the age of 20 I have been self concise of my arms. I've always had strong legs but weak arms. Growing  up my weight fluctuated but no matter how much weight i lost it would never come off my arms. I felt like they were big, weak and did not fit my body. I've never had surgery so I was always hesitant to get them done.  I spend years googling and researching arm liposuction. This year in the beginning of October I found dr. Jindal as one of the high rated plastic surgeons. After some research on him I decided to book a consultation. The moment I walked into edelstein cosmetic I was greeted so kindly and felt very welcomed. I didn't have to wait long to see Dr.   Jindal , I was taken in right on time. He was kind and made me feel comfortable by explaining every detail of what my surgery consisted of, the risks and recovery. I mentioned to the staff when booking that I have my brothers wedding in a month. They asked Dr. Jindal to accommodate me and he made it happen. They found a spot for me as soon as they could so that I could be a little recovered for the wedding. THE DAY OF LIPO Remember to get your blood work done a few week before surgery so they get the results! And do not eat anything before surgery! The clinic where the procedure takes place in is clean, comfortable and like a private descreat hospital. I was so nervous before the whole thing! I almost walked out 3 times. The nurse there came in and we talked about the process and what was going to happen once I got out of surgery. Dr. Jindal came in a few times to speak to me and reassure me I will be okay. Once it was time to go I walked in to the operating room I completely freeked out (it's normal) I was laid down on the bed and the nursed kept talking to me to calm me down.. I was shaking and started to cry a little. Dr. Jindal stood next to me and made sure I felt safe.. he took my hand, the nurse put the oxygen mask on me, and before I knew it I was up. The garment was already on me and I was okay. Waking up the pain was bad. Not unbearable bad, just stinging bad. The nurse gave me a needle and it went away. Dr. Jindal told me my arms look great! I can really say I woke up with a smile on my face feeling calm and confidant in my choice of going through the procedure. The two nurses there made sure I rested in recovery, anytime time I called for one they were there. Once I was ready to go, two nurses helped me get dressed and helped me get to my friend who was waiting for me. RECOVERY FROM LIPO The first night when I got home I was really drowsy and can honestly say I couldn't feel a thing. Dr. Jindal called me to make sure I was home okay and there was no problem. The next moring I started taking my medication as well as my pain medication. My arms felt sore but looked amazing. I got a call from Dr. Jindal again to make sure my night went well and there were no complications. He let me know how to reach him incase I needed him. Larter his office called me (Heather ) so see how my surgery went and to make sure the appointment they made for me fit my schedule.  The next two days went by great! Hardly any pain, I am recovering fantastically! On the 3rd day I woke up with a massive headache. The pain in my head hurt more then anything. My friend contacted Dr. Jindal who answered immediately with some options. Lucky I didn't have to go to the emergency. I slept it off.. it's been a week now and I can honestly say, other then that headache, I would do this all over again. This entire experiance has been amazing. I've felt welcomed, safe and comfortable through out the entire time. The team is extremely helpful and friendly and Dr. Jindal is an amazing doctor. They helped me get accommodated in the time I needed, and called with reminders. Dr. Jindal answered any concerns I had, always made me feel comfortable and confidant with the procedure, and was extremely reliable when I needed him.

I recently had my breast augumentation surgery done by Dr Edelstein. I went for my consultation with him last year. I felt very comfortable from the beginning, he answered all my questions and explained the surgery in detail and the same day I booked my surgery.

My surgery was on April 20th, 2016. I got the incision under the breast / under the chest muscle / 450 CC / high-profile / cohesive gel. I went from a 34 B to now a 34 DD. I did go the largest I could for my body frame he gave me 3 options and for the look I was trying to get I didn't want to have any regrets that I didn't go big enough, since once they're in your body you do lose about 20 CC and after watching all these videos about 90% of them the girls always said they wish they went a little bigger.

Surgery day everything went smoothly the surgery was about an hour and a half. I went in at 8 a.m. to his private clinic and woke up at 9:50 a.m , all the staff was very pleasant no complaints. I was home by 11:30 a.m. I did so much research before and watched a lot of YouTube videos of the recovery process and every girl that I watched had excessive amount of bruising, so I was prepared for myself to get a lot of bruising as well. I took all the prescribed drugs and creams and actually didn't have any bruising at all, the only bruise I had was on my hand from the anesthesia. The first three to five days I was a little sore, never in real pain just hard to move/ breathe. Just felt like a lot of pressure was on your chest. I was so glad and grateful that I could take two weeks off of work. I could have went back probably after 7 days but it was nice to relax at home watch some movies and just rest.

I am so pleased with the results. The outcome is exactly what I was looking for.

I will definitely be going back to Dr Edelstein Cosmetic and would refer his Clinic to anyone in the Toronto area , or outside of Toronto definitely worth the drive.

Ladies, If you're contemplating a BA, and you have on and off for years - just go for it. If you choose Dr. E and the crew at Edelstein Cosmetics, you will be in excellent hands. From the initial consultation, to booking the procedure to pre-op appointment, sizing appointments and post-op care, this team is clearly professional, savvy, efficient and most importantly will help you to achieve the goal you want. You will wish you did it years ago! I know I did. I was always small chested; but I became more deflated after pregnancy and nursing. I'm diligent about staying in shape, through eating well and excersizing (5'2" 115lbs, athletic build) and generally had really positive body image. The only thing I wished for was fuller breasts. I work in a corporate environment, and come from a conservative Asian background, so I didn't want a drastic change, I wanted my own breasts, but proportional to my physique. I consulted with 2 surgeons; Dr. E being one of them. I chose Dr. E because I knew someone who used him for the same procedure, and was thrilled with her results. The other reason I chose Dr. E was because of the positive reviews I read and saw on YouTube. High level statistics; I was an A-cup, wanted to achieve a C-cup. I was provided a range of options and actually chose the smaller (R-295cc, L-275cc). I feared being too big more than being too small. The procedure was easy - arrived late morning, home early afternoon. Recovery was exactly as Heather and team advised. Very well managed through pain meds, rest and limiting activity. I had my procedure Wed and I was able to go out to a customer meeting the following Wed. The post-op experience was not painful - more tightness and discomfort and every day, every week, gets noticeably better. I was able to entertain guests by 3 weeks post-op. By 2 months, I was back to all normal activity (even had a girls trip to Miami!!) and by 3-4 months, I felt fully settled into my new body. I'm at 6 months post op now, and I couldn't be more thrilled. I'm not exaggerating when I say every day I look at my body in the mirror and think - wow, I love my physique - this is what I'm supposed to look like!

After years of weight gain and weight loss, my breasts were saggy and deflated. At age 24 I didn't want to live with saggy milk sacks. I could never take off my bra and when I did I felt like I had to cover my breasts. It was terrible for my confidence. I decided that it was finally time to have a breast augmentation. I did some research and found Edelstein Cosmetic. At first I was nervous because I don't really know anyone who's had cosmetic surgery. I chose Edelstein Cosmetic because all the reviews about Dr. Edelstein and Edelstein Cosmetic were amazing. So I made my consultation appointment. I was so excited!! I went to my appointment and the first impression was amazing. First of all the office is gorgeous. Also, girls at the front are so nice and so helpful. They took my coat and helped me fill out some forms. Then I met with Dr. Edelstein. He was very nice and calm. He took some measurements and then explained my options. I had a list of literally 20 questions and he was very happy to answer them all. He never rushed me. He made me feel like I was his only patient. Hes also extremely happy all the time which is really nice. It seems like he loves his job. After I spoke with the doctor, I got to try on sizes with Heather. Shes amazing. So nice and helpful. She made me feel so comfortable!!! I also took some time to speak with Louise about pricing and all that. She was amazing as well!! Then I had my surgery. I was extremely nervous because I never had surgery done before. I got 560 CC silicone cohesive gel implants over the muscle. I had them put over the muscle because it helped create more of a lift. In my case I needed all the lift I could get. Initially I thought that I was going to need a lift and an implant, but Dr. Edelstein is such a magician. He assured me that I would only need an implant and that down the line we may consider talking about a lift in the future. So I showed up to my appointment. I was so nervous, but Dr. Edelstein was in such a good mood that it calmed me right down. I felt like the surgery took two minutes. When I woke up I was so happy I was telling Dr. Edelstein how amazing he is. It was definitely a painful recovery, but I feel like Dr. Edlestein took so much care while he was performing the surgery that I was in the most minimal pain possible. I didn't even need my pain medication. I only took Tylenol. When it came time to take off my bandages, I had almost no blood on the gauze and no bruising. Dr. Edelstein is literally magical. I would definitely trust Dr. Edlestein with everything! It's been two months today since my surgery and I'm feeling amazing! I'm so happy and my confidence is through the roof!. I also don't need a lift at all, my breasts look great!. I have to add, over the last two months I had multiple questions aout my recovery and the ladies in the office gladly took my calls and e-mails and were so helpful!!! It's been 3 weeks since my breast augmentation procedure and everything is great. Dr. Jindal and his team was there for me through every step of the way. At first I was extremely nervous about going through with the procedure. Originally I was hoping for at least 300cc. So when I was told it was not recommended due to my lack of skin elasticity and breast tissue. I felt quite disappointed. But everything turned out fine, I still prefer a tad bigger. But Dr Jindal was right, 265cc high profile still gives me the look I was going for! I just wanted to say thank to everyone at Edelstein Cosmetic! I hope Dr. Jindal continues to be genuine and provide his wonderful care and service to women like myself!

Height: 5'2
Weight: 113
Body shape: pear (very thin and narrow up top with boney chest and hardly any breast tissue, and little stretch to my skin even though I breast fed 2 kids 5 years apart.)

Since I've done my surgery, I've always felt like I should have gone bigger. But I've been waiting in hopes that it would "drop and fluff" like some people claim and look a little big fuller.. But it has not gotten any fuller. I'm kind of disappointed with dr. Jindal as he wouldn't have gone bigger for me, and kept insisting this was the biggest I could have gone. Originally I came in with hopes for 350cc but was recommended no bigger that 265cc... I wish he would have allowed at least 300cc. :(

Feeling disappointed with size. I can't afford to do another surgery, I wish I could have gone an extra 50-100cc just to be safe. They say 50cc wouldn't be much bigger, then i wonder why they wouldn't just give it to me.. :T
