Dr. Loss is a board certified dermatologist, specializing in adult and pediatric dermatology, dermatologic surgery and cosmetic dermatology.
Malgorzata J. Sass, M.S., N.P. completed her undergraduate work in nursing at St. John Fisher College and received a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Rochester. Malgorzata is dedicated to patient education regarding skin cancer prevention and healthy skin care practices, and has written many educational handouts regarding different dermatology issues for both patients and staff. As a nurse practitioner, she is focused on general dermatology and cosmetic enhancements that include BOTOX®, fillers, and lasers. In addition, she is a sub investigator for multiple dermatology clinical trials and is an active member of the Dermatology Nurses’ Association.
Completed his undergraduate studies at Le Moyne College with a degree in biology. Upon graduating he was awarded enrollment into the U.S. Navy’s Health Services Collegiate Program. Through the program he received his formal training as a physician assistant (PA) at the Sisters of Charity Medical Center of Staten Island, New York. He then proudly served on active duty as a Medical Service Corps Officer in the U.S. Navy, working as a PA in military and family medicine. During his time in the Navy, he completed his master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Nebraska. While stationed at the U.S. Naval Academy he pursued his interest in dermatology through training with the dermatology department of the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
Jennifer McCormick, FNP-BC received a dual undergraduate degree from SUNY Buffalo in nursing and psychology, graduating cum laude and was an active member of Sigma Theta Tau. She later went on to attend the University of Rochester were she received master’s degrees in clinical nurse leadership and family nursing practice. She is certified by the ANCC in Family Nurse Practice. She has held an adjunct professor position at St. John Fischer and has spent time developing and orienting new Registered Nurses. Jennifer joined the practice with previous experience in burn, trauma and emergency medicine and currently practices general dermatology. She driven by enhancing the overall patient experience and is passionate about delivering care that is patient and family centered. While not at work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family while participating in outdoor activities and leading an active lifestyle.
Larissa Loss, FNP-BC was born and raised and Rochester, NY. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Binghamton University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then attended Pace University in New York, NY to complete her Masters in Nursing. During her time in New York, she also worked as a Registered Nurse in a busy outpatient dermatology and plastic surgery clinic while completing her graduate program. Following her graduate degree, she moved to Buffalo, NY to work as a Family Nurse Practitioner in pediatric and adult neurology. Throughout her clinical and work experience, she has found a passion for pediatric and adult dermatology as well as community health. Larissa is ANCC, ACLS, and BLS certified. She is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, The Nurse Practitioner Association, American Nurse Association, Sigma Alpha Lambda Honor Society, and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
Margo is the best. I have been going to Margo for years. She is conservative and has a very artistic eye. The facility is nice and the staff is super friendly and attentive.
