Dr. Magge has been an exceptional presence in my life and a true light through some of my most challenging moments. In 2017, following a double mastectomy, he served as my reconstructive surgeon and provided outstanding care and expertise throughout the process. Since then, I have entrusted him with several other procedures, including upper and lower eyelid surgery (both for myself and my husband), as well as a deep plane facelift, neck lift, and brow lift. I am currently one week post-operative from the latter procedures, and I was remarkably able to return to work just five days after surgery. Dr. Magge's surgical skill is matched only by his kindness, compassion, and attentiveness. His dedication to patient care and his deep understanding of both the physical and emotional aspects of aesthetic surgery are truly unmatched. What amazing experience! With the lower eyelid blepharoplasty Dr. Franklin Richards performed on me, he has proven to be an expert in the field of aesthetic human body sculptor. He skillfully and carefully removed my stubborn eyebags after years of unsuccessful attempts on my part. Right from the consultation, through the surgery, and a few hours after discharge, he called to check on my condition. A key demonstration of his expertise in plastic surgery is his ability to reshape the natural creases, folds, and contours of my eyes so authentically that they appear entirely natural. This is unbelievable and my friends were amazed to see this level of transformation on my face. The job he did on eyelids is priceless and I can't thank him enough for giving me back my self-confidence. As there's no 6 stars, I gave him "5 stars." The surgery center is awesome, overall!!

Hii, had my procedure on Aug 19, 2025. Currently 5 days post op with Dr. Franklin Richards. He was great, very patient, and polite. Absolutely lovee my patient coordinator, Mariah. She’s such a sweetheart, listened to my concerns, and offered very helpful insights and feedback. I’ll insert pics so far as well as before pics! Stats: 5 feet tall, 100 lbs, 325 cc moderate plus mentor round implants under the muscle. Under the breast crease incision. Updated on 26 Aug 2025: Hii, I’m one week post op now! I can’t believe how fast time is flying!! I’m super super happy with my recovery and how well everything has been so far (and hopefully continues to go). Swelling has gone down so much! I’ll definitely attach a picture of my day 1 post op and day 7 post op. I’ve also regained nipple sensation in both breasts. Although, the left is a bit hypersensitive. Was cleared to start wearing bandeau strap today for half a day (for a week or 2 depending on how I feel about the upper pole). Think I’m going to update as the days go by. Updated on 2 Sep 2025: Hi all, I’m now 2 weeks post op and the girls are continuing to drop! The swelling is going down a lot slower now but I’m happy with the size so I hope they don’t go down too much. The tingling and tensing feeling has gone down a lot (now I only feel them periodically in my incisions). The steri strips are still on lol. I think if they’re not off by week 4, I’m going to be very concerned. I only wore the bandeau strap for 3 days (my last day was last Friday) because I like the height of the girls. They’re still very stiff but I mean its only been 2 weeks lol. I’ll attach a video of the girls and a pic of them in clothes! Updated on 19 Sep 2025: I’m officially one month post op! Things are healing good but my two breasts are healing at different rates. The left is higher, rounder, and smaller and the right has dropped some more and is currently bigger (not sure if its noticeable with clothes on). Also, I get this really intense pain in both of my boobs and it makes them so uncomfortably hard (for lack of better words). To the point that it pierces through my compression bras and shirts. But I took the girls out with no bra for the first time this past weekend!

Wow, it seems like ages, but it’s only been 3 months, and all my wounds are closed. I have healed 100%. No complications at all, thanks to Dr. Magee, who was always there along the way, no matter what time I felt the urge to ask a question. It's like a new birth altogether, with my body finally looking the way I wanted it to. Pregnancy and breastfeeding can take a toll on the body, with other issues that cannot be treated with diet and exercise alone. The office staff was friendly, kind, and very accommodating. The state-of-the-art facility and surgical center were clean and up to date. I am extremely satisfied with the results.

Phenomenal outcome! In my mid-fifties and I was nervous to have my breast implants removed, but tired of breasts that were so large, and became even larger during perimenopause. Clothes never fit right and I was uncomfortable most of the time. I conducted extensive research and I’m so grateful I found Dr. Magge! I was immediately put at ease with his down-to-earth consultation and expertise. He talked through my desires for the surgery and explained what was possible based on my breast type. I opted for breast implant removal, additional breast reduction, and a breast lift. The surgery turned out even better than I ever could have hoped for and I am so happy with my (now) natural breasts! I was overwhelmed with tears a few times during recovery because I was so grateful. My breasts are the perfect, proportional size and turned out so pretty! A few details on the overall experience: Pre-surgery prep was so easy! I live an hour away and pre-op was accomplished via phone call. I purchased the VitaMedica Surgery Recovery Support regimen and it helped a lot with recovery. You can purchase from Dr Magge’s office for a discount, or you can order online. I stayed at the Embassy Suites (6711 Democracy Blvd) the night prior to surgery and the hotel is a less than 10-minute walk or short drive to the surgery center. Surgery prep was the best I’ve experienced! Joy (surgical nurse) treated me with such care and surgery mark-up with Dr Magge put me completely at ease; I felt so calm going into surgery. I set up my home prior to surgery date with high-protein meals prepped, incline sleep area set- up, and prescriptions/supplements labeled and ready. Joy gave me everything I needed for post- surgery care, to include a lanyard for my drains. Follow the instructions provided and wear loose-fitting pants (not leggings) and a button-up top for post-surgery ride home. I was diligent about resting (especially the first week) and not exceeding the weight limit for lifting items and I had a fantastic, easy recovery! Dr. Magge called to follow up the evening of my surgery to check on me and I was able to ask additional questions. I transitioned to Tylenol after a couple of days. Highly recommend purchasing the silicone scar sheets! Dr. Magge’s office stocks the silicone sheets in the shape of the surgery scars to make it super easy. My scars were slightly different, so I purchased additional silicone scar tape on Amazon to add coverage on the sides. Silicone sheets are magic! I’m only 10 weeks out from surgery and the scars are already fading nicely. Overall, I am so impressed with Dr. Magge’s surgical expertise, artistic eye for a natural (pretty!) result, and a demeanor that made the whole experience relaxed and positive. I am overjoyed with the outcome! Updated on 4 Sep 2025: Updating to add 3-month before and after photos taken yesterday. I am so ecstatic with the results! Scars are healing nicely and highly recommend the silicone gel scar sheets. I have also added red light therapy scar treatment as well.

After maintaining a 200 lb. weight loss I was left with a significant amount of loose skin all over my body. I met with multiple plastic surgeons for consultations in the DC area, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to go with Dr. Magge. He and his entire staff are laid back and friendly, which made the entire experience wonderful. The practice itself gives a modern medical professional vibe, a contrast to some of the ostentatious office settings I visited. I also like that the procedures are performed on-site, reducing risks of possible exposures presented in a hospital. Each surgeon I met with had presented a different plan for the removal of the excess skin, but I preferred Dr. Magge’s plan for combining certain procedures and leaving me with minimal scarring. This, in addition to Dr. Magge’s online portfolio and competitive price quotes, were major deciding factors. His own staff spoke to his meticulous work, and after my surgeries I couldn’t agree more. I have seen disappointing before and after pictures of people in online excess skin removal groups that I belong to, which make me beyond grateful for my results. I had a breast reduction/lift with Dr. Magge in April 2025, and I’m extremely pleased with the results! He got the size I requested exactly right, and I feel so much more comfortable now! Dr. Magge & the whole team was easy to talk to as they explained everything clearly. He made sure I knew what to expect before and after surgery.
