One year ago, I had my breast reduction surgery with Dr. Alan Gonzalez,  and today I can say with complete confidence that it was one of the most empowering choices I’ve made for my well-being. While the results exceeded my expectations, what truly elevated this experience was the level of intention, structure, and humanity behind every step of the journey. The process was exceptionally thorough: comprehensive evaluations, meetings with Dr. Alan, the anesthesiologist and nutritionist, detailed review of my blood work well in advance, and clear guidance that ensured I felt informed, prepared, and safe at all times. Equally impressive was the post-operative care. Every member of the team, from the nurses and physicians to the administrative staff and drivers, all  contributed to an environment of professionalism, warmth, and genuine compassion. It’s rare to find a practice that balances clinical excellence with such a refined human touch. After numerous consultations with other surgeons, I chose Dr. Gonzalez because his approach felt different,  more thoughtful, more personal, more intentional. One year later, I remain deeply grateful for that decision. The experience I had was very good in all aspects, from the doctor to the girls who attend in the office. Everyone is very aware of the process and recovery of each person. After the 6 months that I have been in my operation, they are still waiting for me and everything I need.

Dr. Alan and his team are truly a dream team. I traveled from the United States to Barranquilla for my rhinoplasty, and while I was initially nervous about everything that comes with having surgery abroad, I honestly wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. From the very beginning even before I arrived , they made sure I had everything I needed and went above and beyond to facilitate the entire process, which gave me so much peace of mind. Once here, the clinic staff as a whole was incredibly comforting, welcoming, and attentive, making me feel at ease from the moment I walked in. I had the pleasure of working closely with Diana and Angela, who were both absolutely amazing , so kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure I felt comfortable and supported throughout the entire journey. All of my post-op treatments have been done by Mayra, who is an absolute sweetheart and has made my recovery so smooth and reassuring. What truly sets Dr. Alan and his team apart is how deeply they care about their patients—not just during surgery, but before, during, and long after. You truly feel supported every step of the way, and that makes all the difference.

Muy espectacular, la atención es súper el equipo de trabajo es sencillo amable. La primera sesión me fue maravilloso yo soy de aguachica y me encantaría tenerlos más cerca para visitarlos más seguido. La doctora Verónica es muy amable y profesional, Gabriela González y María Fernanda son muy cordiales y especiales me hacen sentir en casa, no me detengo a hacer preguntar porque siempre me van a responder con amabilidad y no importa si he preguntado muchas veces. It is weird to say that this was my best surgical experience. My first destination surgery. I never thought I would travel to have a major surgery done. BUT I am happy I found Dr. Alan Gonzalez and took the best decision after seeing him on my first consultation . He gave me peace of mind. After 13 years of having breast implants, I made the decision to remove them. I knew I was in the very best hands. My post-op recovery was very gentle, I experienced absolutely no pain or nausea and I felt cared for in every moment. From the 24-hour nurse who lovingly supported me to the daily visits with sweet Nurse Lore for red light therapy, lymphatic massages, incision care, and IV vitamin infusions, every step was filled with care. Dr. Veronica continued my post-op visits with such kindness and clarity, making the process feel so safe and held. Even now, back home, the team continues to check in on me, and I feel fully supported in my healing journey. I hold deep gratitude for Dr. Alan, whose life’s work helps women heal, transform, and come back to the fullness of who they are. To any woman considering an explant, trust your heart and know that freedom, healing, and coming home to your body is the most beautiful gift you can give yourself.
