Dr. Thomas G. Liszka is a board-certified plastic surgeon and founder of Ballantyne Plastic Surgery in Charlotte, North Carolina. He performs both facial and body cosmetic plastic surgery, but he’s most well-known for his work with patients who have undergone massive weight loss or become moms. After attending Duke University for his undergraduate degree, Dr. Liszka received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh, where he was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his internship and residency in General Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia, where he became chief resident. He then completed a fellowship in Plastic Surgery at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and became the chief resident in Plastic Surgery. Dr. Liszka then headed to the University of South Carolina, where he became an educator of medical students and surgical residents. He moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1996 to start his private practice, Ballantyne Plastic Surgery. In addition to his impressive educational background, Dr. Liszka is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of both the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
