Beautiful Location and Friendly Staff

Got the procedure about 3 months ago (in May 2024) and now waiting to see the results as Dr told me usually after 3 months you will start to notice the initial result. Over all my Procedure went very quick and smooth. No pain and when I noticed it was almost over. The office looks very clean and nice with friendly staff.

FUE Hair Transplant

I had the FUE treatment 3 months ago and am already seeing great results

I’m a 34 year old man and noticed a bald spot from a photo that was taken. I felt embarrassed— “how have I lost this much hair so quickly?!”. The next day I set up a consultation with Dr. Lee. I went into the appointment with no expectations to make my appointment same-day, but that’s what I did. We sat in Dr. Lee’s office and he showed me the areas needing to be addressed on my crown and some other recommendations. I got home and wondered if I had maybe been too impulsive. After a month, it was time for my treatment. I had an incredible experience with Dr. Lee and his team. From the beginning, everyone was very professional. I had the FUE treatment 3 months ago and am already seeing great results. I’ve had compliments from friends and family just 3 months after! My barber, who was skeptical at first, was very also impressed with how things looked. The procedure went well and I experienced no pain. Post-Op was obviously the worst part but not bad at all. The only problem I had was sleeping upright for the first 3 days. Dr. Lee’s team took great care of me and called several times in the first week to make sure everything was going well. Dr. Lee gave me his direct line to text/call with any questions. Overall, I had a great experience at Anderson Center for Hair. I have and will continue to recommend them.

Great Experience with a Reputable Team

I underwent an FUT (strip) surgery from Dr. Lee at Anderson Hair in Atlanta, GA. I got about 1,600 graphs on the front part of my hairline. I also elected to get injections of stem cells on the crown area to help promote growth, as well as hopefully regrow part of the crown and avoid a future procedure (I just have thinning on the crown). I kicked off the process by meeting with a hair consulting specialist who talked about the procedure, what to expect in regards to growth and timelines, and finally was introduced to Dr. Lee. Full transparency- most of the time in this initial meeting is with the consultant, who is extremely knowledgable, but just know it’s not the entire time with the doctor. Come prepared and get all of your questions answer! After I showed up to the morning of my procedure and spent time with both the nurse and Dr. Lee, he took his time in drawing out the proposed hairline with a marker (we spent a good 15 minutes talking about what would look best). Once we were ready to begin, I took so low dose sedatives and I was out for most of the procedure (one bathroom and lunch break). Some tips and things I did not think about: - The recovery time is much longer than advertised in your consultation meeting. Maybe my case was different, but I was out of it for about 3 days after. - You can’t move much the first 4-5 days after your procedure, so take off work and be sure you can stay in a comfortable recliner during that time. - You have to sleep in recliner for the first 6 nights of your procedure (I missed this detail in my research). - Super important to keep ointment on the sutures on the back of your head to ensure they heal without any complications. - Button up shirts are your friend for this week. Use them exclusively! - You can’t wear a hat for at least a week or two after your procedure.. this is something I was told differently in the consultation, which was frustrating. - The scabbing and itchiness is REAL. Be patient and use the spray bottle. The scabs will come off eventually, just be patient. This procedure took many months for me to consider and think about before saying “yes”, but I am glad I did it. It took a lot of research and a lot of questions needing to be answered for me to feel like it was worth it and that I will thank myself in the long run, and I really do think I will. Dr. Lee and his team were extremely kind, professional, and eased a lot of my anxiety before the procedure began. The best thing Dr. Lee said was “I want this procedure to look good now in the short term, but I want it to look great in 30 years,” which goes to show he cares about his patients and wants everyone to feel their best. If I need another procedure in the future, Dr. Lee is at the top of my list and I recommend anyone to at least go and meet him and his team, and decide for yourself. I am sure glad I took that step.

My experience during and post-surgery

Dr. Lee performed my hair restoration surgery just over a month ago. At this time I cannot speak to the effectiveness of the surgery for me personally, as it will still be a few more months until the new growth begins, but I can share my experience during and post-surgery. I had the FUT procedure done (the one where you’re left with a scar) because I need the maximum yield from the surgery. Dr Lee and his staff are very friendly and professional, and they make sure you’re comfortable pre and post surgery. I was put under about an hour after arriving and woke up a few hours later in little to no discomfort. They provided a meal at that point and then finished working on the graft area. I did feel some pain at that point, but it was manageable and when I brought it up to the staff they gave me something to help, which worked. Dr. Lee gave me his personal phone number in case I had any questions after the surgery, and the few times I reached out he was available to help! Post-surgery there is some discomfort and tenderness with the stitches as well as the graft area, but it’s definitely manageable. You have to sleep upright or just slightly reclined for about 4 days which was hard the first night, but by the third night I got a good night of rest. For me the swelling began on the third day and was mostly gone by the sixth day. The swelling was pretty severe, but was only cosmetic, no pain involved. It was mostly around my forehead and eyes. I would suggest you allow yourself AT LEAST a full week after the surgery to basically do nothing but recover. If you can give yourself more time, even better, but I went back to work on the seventh day. I was able to wait a hat, but you want it slightly elevated so that it’s not hard on the graft area. It can be a little uncomfortable on the stitches though. It’s been a month since the surgery and I finally went and got a haircut today. The scar is still visible, so I’ll need to keep my hair a bit longer than I used to in that area, but it is still fading and I think it won’t be difficult to hide. Given my experience to this point, I can say I would definitely recommend Dr. Lee and this procedure to somebody struggling with hair loss like I have, and I look forward to the new hair coming in.

Great Staff, Great Experience

I actually put this procedure off for 2 years because I was so nervous about it. Pain, scars, recovery and all the other negative things I had read about kept me from making the jump. My biggest regret about the whole thing was not doing it sooner! The doctor and staff were extremely comforting, and given they were all so experienced, my worries dropped to zero once I arrived at the office. I actually had almost no pain throughout the procedure, and the recovery was quick and easy. I was able to keep working the day after, and didn't even need the pain medication (although it was provided just in case). It took about 10 days to feel comfortable in public without a hat on, but it was barely noticeable after a week or so. I am still awaiting the results as it has only been a month, but I can see where all the hair follicles are and it looks promising! The back of my head where they took the 'donor' follicles doesn't look any different, so there will be no scarring with the type of procedure I had. I wear my hair quite short so this was impressive. The doctors did it in a way that will make it look natural, and it follows a naturally receding hair line so that it isn't so obvious. They carefully drew out how they were going to do it, and made sure that I was 100% ok with how they were planning on placing the follicles. I would definitely recommend this facility if you are planning on having the FUE hair transplant. And based on my experience, I would recommend this facility for anything else they may offer.

My procedure produced the best results possible

I highly recommend Anderson Center for Hair and Aesthetics. My hair started receding in my late 20’s and I did extensive research to find solutions. After hours and hours on the web I came to conclusion that a hair transplant would be the best route to go. My biggest fear was having the procedure done and having a very noticeable scar that people would see. As I started doing my research it became very evident that Anderson Center for hair was the place for me. They have technology and techniques that minimize the scarring. At first I was very nervous about having the procedure done but after doing my research on Anderson Center for Hair they put me at peace. One of the great things I liked about how they operate is that with them I didn't have to cut my hair! With many techniques you have to shave your head and the fact that I didn't have to do that was a huge plus for me and allowed my minimal scar to be hidden with ease. I was quite amazed at how easy the recovery process was and to my surprise it was pretty painless for me. One of the big things I greatly appreciated after the procedure is that they checked on me periodically to ensure that I was doing okay. There “after procedure” directions were very specific and helped me take the right steps to ensure that my procedure produced the best results possible. This procedure was completely worth it and has given me my confidence back in my hair.

I am very excited about my new hair

I wanted to do the hair transplant surgery for quite some time, however after looking at the post surgery photos on line I thought "ouch" and backed off. I found Anderson centre for hair on line and the reviews were perfect 5 star. I decided to do the free consultation with Dr.Lee, after meeting with him and his staff I knew he was the doctor to do my hair transplant surgery. The experience was amazing and now I understand why they have such great reviews. Pre surgery they answered all my questions immediately and the communication was spot on. I was very nervous the morning of surgery, but Dr. Lee and his staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. When Dr. Lee heard I was nervous he came in just to chat with me for a few minutes. The procedure was over in what felt like an hour and I was ready to go home for dinner, it was comfortable and best of all absolutely painless.I woke up the next morning expecting to be in pain, however I felt no pain or discomfort at all. I was home for 2 days, and like any surgery I had to follow some guidelines but it will be so worth in a few months! Dr. Lee did such a good job on the sutures, my wife could not find them to put antibiotic ointment on them. I am at day 8 and so far it has been a great experience, I got 2 calls from the staff to checkup on my progress. The facility is very clean and nice, the staff is amazing especially the 2 nurses that assisted with my procedure. I am very excited about my new hair, I would absolutely recommend Anderson Center for hair for anyone thinking about hair replacement surgery.

The results are extremely impressive

My experience could not have been any better with Dr. Lee and his team. From my consultation all the way through post op, everything was done professionally and perfect. As for my results, I couldn’t be happier. The results are extremely impressive. I had been hesitant for years about addressing my hairline, but Dr. Lee gave me lots of good info in my consultation and was confident he could provide the result I was looking for. When my operation day came, the whole day went very smooth. Very minimal pain, if any at all. All the post-op instructions were given to me with a day by day guide of what to do to achieve my best results. Altogether I’m thrilled with the job Dr. Lee did, and I’m very glad I chose him and his team for my operation.

3 Mo In, Starting to See Good Results.

Writing this report as of 3 months post procedure. Here is my experience with Dr. Lee and the people at Anderson and Associates. The staff and Dr Lee are great. They really treat you well, answer all questions, and are all very friendly. I had FUT done. Fell asleep the first half of the procedure, they start early. During the procedure it did hurt a little, but the staff noticed and numbed me more and then it was fine. Speak up if you feel anything haha. I’m starting to see the results now and it’s exciting. I see myself looking like my old/younger self. Everything is coming along very well. So far very pleased with the early results and excited to see the finished product. Would recommend to a friend unable to deal with going bald gracefully like myself.

I can genuinely say that I enjoyed my procedure

Dr. Lee and his team made the whole process from booking my consultation to the day of surgery an absolute breeze. On the day of my surgery, I felt like I was in the best hands. Dr. Lee has a very comforting vibe & his experience and knowledge shines through in everything he does. I can genuinely say that I enjoyed my procedure - him and his team are so personable that the conversation was fun. So, what happened on surgery day for my FUT procedure? 1) A member of Dr. Lee’s team checked my vitals, had me do a COVID test, asked me what I wanted for lunch, had me go over some forms / answered all of my questions, and then took my blood for PRP. 2) Dr. Lee answered all of my questions and drew a hair line that he thought would best suit me & be age appropriate in the future. We agreed on a hairline & then hit the photo booth to get pre-procedure pictures. 3) I was given mild sedatives / anti-anxiety medication and an antibiotic to take. 4) Local anesthetic was applied. I had seen a lot online about these injections being painful, but Dr. Lee uses a vibrating device that makes it painless. 5) The strip was cut and the suture was performed. I originally intended to go with an FUE procedure, but after seeing Dr. Lee’s previous work and experience in making such small scars that force hair to grow through them (if you’re feeling nerdy look up trichophytic closures), I went with an FUT. It’s helpful to have a surgeon that is skilled in both procedures, because there are advantages / disadvantages to both. Techs in the room worked on dissecting the follicles apart in the strip. 6) Honestly, after this point, I was so relaxed from the drugs that I took a nap, so I can’t comment much on what happened here. As I woke up, the skilled technicians were inserting the final grafts into the sites created by Dr. Lee. 7) Dr. Lee takes after-procedure photos. 8) The team was so efficient that I actually took my lunch to go (procedure lasted from 7 am to 1:20ish pm). 9) I received two texts from Dr. Lee’s personal cell phone checking on me already this evening. I plan to update my review in the future as the results come in, but I have no doubt that they are going to be great. I’m really happy I picked Dr. Lee and his team. Surgery can feel scary, but he made it feel like we were just hanging out while he and his team were working diligently.
