About 2 weeks ago I got 7 of my top teeth placed with porcelain crowns and veneers. After brushing my teeth today I noticed a popping sensation almost like air bubbles were between my regular teeth and the crowns. I do grind my teeth at night when I sleep and I'm supposed to go back to the dentist next week to get a mouth guard. Since it's only been 2 weeks are the teeth still settling or do I need to move up my appointment?? I don't want to risk them coming loose!
Hi There, I got 2 veneers a month ago because i have a gap in the middle of my two front teeth. I used to just get filler but would always crack off and i thought veneers would be better suited. I've felt a popping in one of my veneers and i've gotten it checked by 2 dentist they have both said the veneer is not loose. I am currently having a problem with my gums as they are bright red. The 2 veneers don't feel secure. What would be causing my teeth to feel loose? If it is not the veneers
I have had veneers for a year now. Recently I have been hear a popping sort of noise when I put slight preasure on them. Does this mean they need replacing? I have an appointment soon but I'm so worried they're going to have to remove them all. When veneers are replaced, do you get temporary ones whilst the permenany ones are being made in the lab?
I have had porcelain veneer on my two upper front teeth for close to 10 years, and just this past August, one of my veneers popped off for the first time. I got the same veneer bonded back on right after that (by a different dentist than the one who originally put them on), but it popped off again in October, and then again in November, and again in December. I am frustrated beyond belief. What do I do? Should I go back to the dentist who originally put them on? I'm at a loss.
(2/2) My dentist says that everything is fine (X rays and test to cold are ok). That this is a normal reaction to be expected when the teeth need a lot of preparation. That this should go away overtime time as reactional dentin will form. I should also mention that this veneer popped off the first week and that my dentist glued it back on. I should have my set of veneers redone in a month (I want a whiter shade). Will it fix i?Thanks. PS : please excuse my English as it is not my first language
