	This patient was unhappy not only with the position and shape of her brows, but the excess loose skin of her face and neck. I performed an endoscopic browlift through small incisions hidden behind her hairline, as well as a lower face and neck lift, an upper blepharoplasty, and fat transfer to her cheeks. This combination of procedures has given her an improved jawline, neckline, brow position and cheek fullness, as well as an overall refreshed, youthful look.

Lower Facelift

When this 60 year old patient came to Dr. Kevin Sadati for a cosmetic consultation her chief complaint with extra skin around her lower face and neck area. As a board certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Kevin Sadati performed a lower face and neck lift without the need for general anesthesia. The patient's facelift surgery was comfortably performed in office with local anesthesia and twilight sedation.

This 59-year-old woman wanted complete facial rejuvenation. I performed a full facelift, including the lower face. I also performed a neck lift and upper and lower eyelid surgery.  

Having completed trials for multiple different methods of facelift procedures, I have settled on performing a full SMAS elevation and advancement through an incision that is located around and inside the ear as opposed to in front of the ear. In my hands, this technique seems to come out the most natural-appearing and last the longest. Even when I perform my version of the short-scar facelift, I still treat the underlying tissues the same way. It just makes sense to me that by placing the underlying architecture back where it was when the patient was 25, the rest of the facial features look more natural and youthful. In this way, I am able to avoid pulling the skin too tight or creating a clown appearance.

This patient came to me on a mission, which was to fight the aging process. Although noninvasive and minimally invasive procedures are appropriate in this situation, she made it clear that she was not looking for fillers or botox.
