55 year old female 2 years following exchange of breast implants and a lift. She had previously undergone a breast augmentation with implants that were too wide for her frame. This left her with symmastia, or breasts that touch together. She also had indentation of her nipples caused by poor surgical closure of her prior peri-areolar incision. Over time, her breasts had also started to droop. These issues were corrected with removal and replacement of the breast implants and a mastopexy or breast lift.

Our 37 year old patient is 6 weeks post op from her Buttock Implant Removal (Explant) with Total Capsulectomy. She presented with large implants that she felt were too heavy for her frame. She has not slept on her back or been able to lay flat comfortably for the past 15 years. When she lays down she feels electricity through her lower back and legs. Sitting is even difficult requiring specials cushions and positioning. I used her previous incision to remove the implants and capsules. They were placed in between the muscles requiring a muscle repair. She is free from pain and is able to sit and lay on her back without any issues. Her clothing fits better and she feels more proportionate.

37 year old woman treated with Butt Implant Removal

Our 32 year old patient is 3 months after her Butt Implant Removal (Explant) and Total Capsulectomy surgery. She had ruptured silimed 300cc implants placed in between her buttock muscles. I used her previous incision along her central buttock region to remove the implants and whole capsule (total capsulectomy). She suffered from chronic pain- specifically on her right side radiating down her leg. She had seen multiple specialists (neurologists, spine surgeons, physical therapists and choripractors) to help her with this. She is finally pain free after removing her buttock implants and the pressure/irritation they were causing on her surrounding nerves and muscles.
