25-34 year old woman treated with Breast Implant Removal and Placement of Silicone Sientra Implants. Patient had a deflation of her left breast implant and a capsular contracture of her right breast implant. She changed her implants from saline to Sientra silicone 280cc high profile implants. The silicone implants with removal of her capsular contracture give her a much more natural feel and appearance.

This patient is a 41-year-old female who had previously undergone breast augmentation by another surgeon. There were saline implants in the subglandular plane. She has very unnatural appearance with severe drooping. During surgery I performed bilateral complete capsulectomies with implant shell removal, inverted T-scar mastopexies, power-assisted liposuction of lateral chest, flanks and medial thighs, and fat grafting to breasts bilaterally. A total of 220 cc of fat was injected into the medial and upper pole of each breast.  The patient recovered quickly and was extremely happy with her perkier, more natural, implant-free breasts.

35-44 year old woman treated with Breast Implant Removal

This 43 year old woman is 5'5 tall and weighs 133 lbs. She presented requesting removal of her implants. She had a prior breast lift when she had 225cc silicone gel implants placed below the muscle 5 years prior. Her implants/capsule are still very soft but she has developed some recurrent ptosis, (sagginess). She had removal of her implants and a partial capsulectomy with a repeat mastopexy, (lift), to have better access to the implants/capsule for removal as well as reshaping the breast. Her scars are still quite pink as the results are shown early, 10 weeks, after surgery.

Patient had a saline breast augmentation with Dr. Schaffer about 10 years ago.  Saline implants were placed under the muscle filled to 360 cc's using a small incision in the armpit.  The patient has decided she does not want to have the implants anymore due to neck and back pain accompanied with a few health issues.  Dr. Schaffer removed the implants easily through the same incision in the armpit from her original surgery.  She is very happy with her results !

She replaced those implants with smooth round gel Allergan Inspira SRF implants R= 325cc and L=295cc. She went from a 34D to a 34C cup. Her height is 5 feet 8 inches and she weighs 150 lbs. She has two children. The incision was through the breast fold and the implant is under the muscle.
