Isotretinoin

Isotretinoin is the cornerstone of treatment for significant, or stubborn acne. It is a vitamin A derivative that works brilliantly to permanently reduce (and in most cases, cure) acne, and may be utilised safely in children and adults. It does need to be monitored carefully by a specialist, but when done so, provides amazing results, as in this patient who was treated for 8 months.
