This is a 59 year old breast cancer survivor who came to see us after her initial breast reconstruction procedure had failed with hopes that Dr. Stridde could remedy her earlier failed procedure. The patient had previously undergone a mastectomy for breast cancer as well as radiation therapy on her left breast followed by immediate breast reconstruction which has now failed. Through a multi-stage surgical process, Dr. Stridde was able to reconstruct her breasts by implementing and utilizing the following: Stratus Xenograft, autologous fat transfer, AlloDerm Alloplast Gel Implants and finally a bilateral nipple reconstruction with star flap.
