I did a necklift tightening up the lower SMAS as well. For the necklift I used an incision under the chin to tighten her neck muscle called the platysma. This technique is called a corset platysmaplasty. I also tightened the muscle laterally using a technique called a lateral platysmal window. Extra skin was removed using incision behind her ears and in her posterior hairline.
