This 38 year old woman presents after having previous breast augmentation from another surgeon. She had implants placed in breasts that were ptotic (droopy) as the surgeon did not perform a mastopexy (lift) which was clearly necessary. This patient requested correction. This involved exchanging the implants, removing the scar tissue capsule around the implants and reducing the space so that proper healing and new implant positioning could take place. A mastopexy (breast lift) was then performed and she is now seen at six months after surgery. She desired to be slightly smaller and had her original 325cc saline implants exchanged to 300cc using smooth round silicone gels; she went from a D to a C cup. The scars ore already fading and will continue to fade over time.
