This patient is a 42 year old female who consulted with Dr. Greenberg complaining of the excess skin of her abdomen. This patient had had a prior abdominoplasty performed by another surgeon many years ago and had also subsequently had more children. She was concerned with the poor scarring from her previous tummy tuck, wished for better abdominal contour and for treatment of her stretch marks. After a thorough conversation, she elected to have a revision abdominoplasty where Dr. Greenberg addressed the poor scarring, redundant skin of her abdomen, and abdominal wall laxity from her pregnancies. As you can see from her 5 month post-operative photo, she has achieved significantly better abdominal contour and great improvement of her tummy tuck scar and stretch marks.

Tummy tuck revision. This patient was unhappy with the results of a tummy tuck done by another surgeon. She felt she had a boxy shape and too much fat around her waist. I revised her tummy tuck: 1. moving the incision lower on her abdomen: bikini incision 2. re-tightening her abdominal muscles in a corset fashion to bring her waist in and flatten her abdomen giving her more of an hourglass shape. 3. removed excess skin from her lower abdomen 4. extensive VASER ultrasound liposuction of her waist, flanks, lower back areas to give her more shape and curve.

REVISION tummy tuck. This patient was unhappy with the results of her tummy tuck by another surgeon. For her revision I lowered her scar so that it could be hidden in underwear. I removed more skin and fat, I re-tightened her abdominal muscles using a 3 vector corset plication technique to cinch in her waist. I then used VASER ultrasound liposuction. to etch out her abdominal muscles and carve our her waist to give her an hourglass shape.
