3DMIRACL is a lunchtime skin rejuvenation treatment performed with the FDA-cleared UltraClear laser device.

A 3DMIRACL treatment resurfaces the top layer of skin, the epidermis. This 10-minute treatment can target:

  • large pores
  • acne stars
  • uneven skin texture
  • sun spots
  • fine lines
  • dull skin tone

While more intense treatments with the UltraClear laser can remodel collagen in the deeper layers of skin, 3DMIRACL treatments are faster and more comfortable, with very little downtime.

It can create noticeable improvements after a single treatment, though a series is usually recommended for best results.

UltraClear 3DMIRACL treatments are considered safe for all skin types, including people with deeply pigmented skin who are at high risk of burns from other laser technologies.

Pros

  • This quick, 10-minute procedure can create a noticeable improvement after just 1 session
  • 3DMIRACL was designed be virtually pain-free, a rarity among laser treatments
  • It also comes with mild side effects and less than 1 day of downtime
  • It’s safe and effective for a wide range of skin types
  • You can choose between a series of light lunchtime peels or a single deeper treatment, which yields more dramatic results

Cons

  • Because it’s a relatively new treatment, it may not be as widely available as some legacy lasers
  • You can expect some serious exfoliation within 2 to 3 days of your procedure, as the top layer sheds to reveal fresh new skin
  • This isn’t a one-time treatment: a series of 3 to 6 is recommended for optimal results

3DMIRACL is an ablative, cold fiber laser with a unique 2910 nm wavelength that vaporizes the top layer of skin.

Treating this dull, damaged outer layer triggers exfoliation within 3 days, revealing fresh, smooth new skin.

One of the biggest benefits of this facial rejuvenation treatment is its minimal pain: typically 3 on a scale of 10, with many patients reporting a pain level of 1. In fact, it doesn’t even require numbing cream.

Most patients feel a warm, tingling sensation with a slight snapping.

Your 3DMIRACL cost will depend on:

  • your provider’s level of experience
  • the practice location
  • how many sessions you need

During your consultation, ask for a cost estimate for your entire treatment plan, and make sure you understand how often they recommend getting follow-up treatments.

Many providers offer package discounts if you pay for multiple treatments up-front.

One of the big upsides of this light laser peel is the minimal downtime. You may have some mild side effects like swelling and redness afterward, but you should be able to tone it down with makeup and head back to work the following day.

Pay close attention to your aftercare instructions, which may include:

  • hydrating with a gentle moisturizer and lots of water
  • protecting your skin with a broad-spectrum, SPF 30+ sunscreen
  • using a mild cleanser

If you experience any symptoms that don’t resolve within a day, reach out to your provider.

You should see an improvement within 2 to 5 days of your 3DMIRACL treatment and clearer, smoother, more radiant skin for a few months. Additional treatments will make these results even more noticeable and long-lasting.

You can also prolong the benefits with medical-grade skincare and daily applications of high-SPF sunscreen.

Maintenance sessions are also recommended. Ask your provider how often you should return for touch-ups.
