Here’s Who Was—and Wasn’t—Supportive of Teresa Giudice’s Nose Job

RHONJ Teresa Giudice just shared that she got a nose job earlier this year, citing long-term insecurities that she had a “tomato nose."

Like so many other women in the Real Housewives franchise, New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice is certainly no stranger to plastic surgery—remember when she famously got new “bubbies” during season one of the Real Housewives Of New Jersey? The OG Bravo star has also spoken candidly about replacing her breast implants (as did her co-star Dolores Catania, who told us all about her breast augmentation) and undergoing a wide array of cosmetic procedures on social media. Recently added to that list was a nose job, which she said she had to address long-term insecurities that the top was very round and looked like a “tomato nose.”

But the Teresa Giudice nose job reveal wasn’t particularly dramatic, as has been the case with some of her other RHONJcastmates. Rather, she first talked about it while speaking at the New Jersey Ultimate Women’s Expo in November 2021. “I was so nervous,” she told the crowd at the expo center. She went on to explain that it was her now-husband, then-fiancé Luis “Louie” Ruelas who helped her feel more confident in her decision to get the surgery, saying that she should do it if it was going to make her feel better. Not as supportive? Her RHONJco-star and frenemy Margaret Josephs, who Giudice says tried to talk her out of it.

“She’s like, ‘No, you don’t need to do it.’ Like, really, bitch? Sorry, like, you got so much plastic surgery, why [are] you telling me that?” (Josephs has openly discussed her facelift revision, breast reduction, and breast lift.)

Giudice chose Dr. Geoffrey Tobias, a board-certified otolaryngologist in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, as her surgeon, calling him “amazing” and saying that the surgery has “made me feel better.” The reality star followed in the footsteps of her daughter Gia Giudice, who went to Dr. Tobias for a nose job in 2020 and also raved about the results. “I’ve never been happier and so comfortable in my own skin!!” she said in a post-surgery Instagram caption

Giudice isn’t the only Real Housewives of New Jersey Starwho has undergone a rhinoplasty. Her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga , who is married to Teresa’s brother Joe Giudice, admitted during season seven that she had had a nose job years prior. (Gorga also recently claimed that Giudice had forehead-lengthening surgery, although that’s neither been confirmed nor denied.) And RHONJ starJennifer Aydin—who’s also had a variety of other plastic surgery procedures—and her new nose were the talk of the town and a trending storyline during season 12 last year. Still, Teresa Giudice’s nose job was undeniably more subtle; she told Andy Cohen on an episode of Watch What Happens Livethat “no one even noticed” the results, and neither the surgery itself nor her altered appearance was ever talked about on the reality TV show.
