I am 33 and 4 years in remission of breast cancer. I struggle with fatigue and getting proper exercise. I have removed 7 lymph nodes under my right arm and deal with chronic inflammation. I I I strongly desire a body that makes me look and feel good in a bikini . I never had any children but my tummy says different. I am terrified of more scarring and any complications but want to do surgery that actually makes me look and feel good about myself. Please help.
I am a 17 year cancer survivor who had axillary lymph node dissection during staging. I have been told not to injure or get shots in the arm where the lymph nodes were removed. Is Liposuction of the back and sides an option for me? Is arm Liposuction or reduction an option for me?
Im 45, 54 and currently 122 lbs. for most of my life I was skinny. Im a small frame and weighed around 110. I was diagnosed with IDC breast cancer almost 3 years ago. I had a double mast., chemo + herceptin, then was given Tamoxifen, which put me into menopause. Since then I have ballooned around the middle. I am a very healthy eater, exercise like crazy and the muffin top wont budge. Would Lipo help? If I keep gaining weight from the Tamoxifen, would that just negate the effects of liposuction?
I am not supposed to have my blood drawn or blood pressure taken on that arm because of increased risk of lymphedema. But a doctor wants to liposuction my axillary area instead which is close to where my nodes were taken. Will arm or axillary liposuction increase my risk for lymphedema? Thank you.
In my previous questions I had regarding surgery while taking herceptin. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had surgery in September 2016. I had a needle localized right breast lumpectomy and a right axillary lymph node dissection. I've had no lymphedema or swelling since the surgery, however, I want to know if it's factual that I cannot have lipo done to my arm due to the surgery. And if so, is that a lifetime sentence or after a certain period of time...
