In january I have had a liplift and nosejob, both led to dissatisfaction. The one that really impacts my social life now is the scar under my nose. I have been treating it with Co2 laser, but it is a slow and not so effective procedure. I know it will never be perfect, but right now it looks butchered. My question is will a revision surgery be a better option for me? It really scares me to do it but I get sad every time I see myself. Any recommendation of a doctor would be nice as well.
Hello, Ive had lip lift 8months ago. Overall im satisfied because it helped with face feminisation (im trans mtf). My concern is a scar that have remained. In first month it looked like a subtle thin line under my nose, but then the inner sutures started to emerge from under the skin, causing the scar to go real bad. I have structured athropic scar thats way thicker than i expected and very visible when i make facial expressions. I did 1 session of CO2 laser, but im considering a revision.
I have an atrophic surgical scar along my alar wing border down to my nostril as a result of a lip lift. What are the best ways to treat this kind of scar. So far I've been told dermabrasion, CO2 laser (already had fraxel and CO2 laser with little improvement), electrodessication (for scar webbing'). It looks like the scar margins spread and the scar is indented.
I am seriously considering this. I do not have a lot of dental show and don't like my smile. After meeting with a couple surgeons, I have been repeatedly told the scars are basically undetectable. But what does this mean? Does anyone have any pictures of the scars as they will look? I was told they would be treated with a laser. I would be very grateful for any information or pictures! Thank you so much.
