hi doctors, I'm seeing white dots on my arms and legs, you can only really notice them from up close, but theres a lot of them, and Im sure its from the laser hair removal that I have been getting done. THis is really bothering me as I have no idea, if this is permanent and what exactly causes it? And how can I prevent it, because I really want to keep getting laser hair removal.
I had my first brazilian laser hair removal session last Tuesday, after a day or two, it starts to have those red bumps and itchiness on the bikini area. It hurts a bit when I pressed it, and there were some white spots as well. It is really annoying and I'm afraid it's burned or infected. Also the area is a bit dark as well. So far I've only put lotion on it. Shall I use any medical cream or gel to help it smooth down quickly? Shall I wait until the bump disappear to shave?
Hi, i just got my third treatment done 2 days ago, and I was horrified when I looked at my legs this morning. They have white bumps all over, but theyre not itchy. the bumps are all over the pores on my legs. Will they scar? Any way I can improve this at all?
I had my legs lasered for the first time on January 17th 2017 and experienced burning from prior sun exposure, its been over 2 months and i'm worried my legs will never be normal again! I took photos after my laser treatment and everyday after until the scabbing healed, then photos weekly until now. I dont see any improvement in these white spots and i have tried fading creams, pigmentation creams, sun exposure to tan the white areas and even my skin out, and nothing seems to change the spots
So I got laser hair removal and it burnt me, I put a burn ointment on it the they peeled and fell off naturally and now Im stuck with this white spots on my arm, how can I get rid of it and will it stay?
I have got my leg and tummy burnt a month ago during the second session of hair removal with Cynosure Elite laser. I used Mebo cream, the burns healed and now that the crusts are gone I have white spots. I have been told to use Vitix cream during the night and Elocome during the day, to repigment the white spots. Please advise if this is the appropriate treatment and how long will it take to heal completely (weeks, months or years?). Many thanks in advance
I was burned during laser hair removal. The following day a dermatologist gave me a cortisone shot and topical cream ( mometasone) which I used for 7 days. My scabbing came off and I now have Hypopigmentation. Will this white spots be permanent? Will they improve ? Ive been told to stay away from the sun, but I have also heard that gradual sun exposure (1-2 min) very 2-3 days may help improve the appearance as the white patches may tan.
I got laser hair removal and I've been getting it for over 2 years now. A month ago the temperature was too hot and I thought the temp was higher to get the dark hairs that came back fast, but after my appointment my thigh immediately started to turn red and then purplish brown like when u get a scab. After a while the scab came off and now it's just white in the spots I got the burn. I'm really worried because I'm just a kid and I don't want this to ruin my life please help!
Hey, I had a laser hair removal 5 months ago and now I'm left with white spots, most of them on my right leg. As I got to know later on you shouldnt get treated by laser when your skin is taned, but mine was taned from the sun as I got treated by laser! Can someone please tell me if there is a chance for me to get my normal pigmentation back? Thanks a lot!
In March 3, 2014 I was burnt during a treatment- full legs! I used a mixture of hydroquinone(7%) and retin A (0.05%) that was prescribed. I used it nightly and the dark marks faded. Once faded it turned white! My doctor said its hypo pigmentation -likely from laser. The adjuster for the clinic says its the mixture I used that caused the white marks! I've used this mixture go 20 years on my face! I always use a sunblock! Did the marks come from the burns or the cream?
