I had my lips filled with Juvederm back in June. At the beginning of July I had a touch up performed. My lips looked great for about a month. Little over a week ago the volume in my lips went down considerably. My doctor is suggesting to wait at least another month or two before another procedure as there is still a little volume to be seen. Is this an effect that is common? Does smoking have any negative effect on the filler? Do I get charged the same amount of money next time I go? Thank you in advance for your help.
I had juvederm injected on my nasolabial folds and some on my chin and I think it may have actually made the problem worse. I have attached photos for reference. I'm very dissapointed that something so expensive did not work at all. I have an otherwise youthful looking face but these smile lines are pesky. What do you suggest to get rid of them once and for all?
Hi, I have had now Botox (forehead) and Juveriderm ultra 2 Units on nasal folds and cheek bone area and Juviderm voluma on lines surrounding my mouth area. This was done 6 weeks ago and cost me $2,500 dollars. I see no difference of if any by the botox only and my lips are a little fuller. After $2,500.00 you would think the lines surrounding the nasal and mouth are would be gone but they are not! What went wrong and after spending that kind of money, shouldn't I of expected something better?
I had relatively deep Nasal Labial lines and had Juvederm Ultra injected and it looked fantastic, for one month then started to disappear. By the end of the second month it was gone. I went to another PS to discuss it and he said that the doctor most likely did not use enough - so he used two more vials (one for each side) and the same thing happened. It tried a third ps - same thing. This concluded - it's me not the Juvederm. What else could I try?
I had juvederm placed under my eyes in july along with botox. the botox took away wrinkles in my forehead & crows feet but the juvederm left the skin under my eyes more wrinkled, loose and saggy. I have had about 4 rounds of dissolver but it does not seem to be working. my eyes look much worse than how they started, the skin literally looks pushed up and folded into big, deep, loose, saggy wrinkles. i am supposed to go for my 5th round of dissolver tomorrow & my doc recommend botox too.
