I had a consultation and pre-op exam for visian evo icl. I read online on the FDA site and star surgical site that one should discontinue contact lens wear for 1-2 weeks before the pre-op exam in order to obtain correct refraction measurements. My doctor did not inform me of that. It was also stated in the consent I was asked to sign after I paid the deposit. Im looking for honest advise. The doctor that I chose is one of the top for icl in NYC.

Hi all, I have dry eyes and headaches after ICL Surgery. I had ICL surgery 3 years back and I don't have any problem till last year when migraine headaches started. Those headaches will come and goes but my eyes pain will stays ever I could not able to do any daily activities(like watching TV, phone and reading paper). I have contacted more than 20 ophthalmology doctors approximately everyone is saying my eyes are perfectly fine even ICL lens are in good condition.

Hi there, I'm eligible for PRK but they suggested me to have a second opinion from a cornea specialist as I have a high prescription and thin corneas therefore progressive ectasia risks. My eyes are -7.50 & -8.25 and my residual corneal thickness after PRK will be about 400 microns. What concerns me is that none of the doctors, the eye laser surgeon and the cornea specialist, recommended me IOL and after some online research, it seems like it would be the best option in my case. Hi! Im 18 years old, and I have been wearing glasses since I was 11. I hate it, so Im planning to get corrective surgery. My left eye is -2.75 and my right eye is -4.25. My doctor said that I can get lasik when Im 23. I am sorta willing to wait five years for lasik, but today, I came across Collamer Lenses which is something doctor puts in your eyes and your vision improves. If my eye doctor approves, I may get them soon. Should I get collamer lenses by next year or lasik 5 years later?

My vision in a few years will change to the point where I have to use glasses or get lasik done. What are my chances of getting guaranteed that this ICL Sugery works?

I had an ICL surgery a month ago. I got very clear vision for 10 days. I got blurred vision after 10days and informed about 0.75 cylindrical (astigmatism). Can it be corrected? My question is, vision was very sharp for 10days not now.?
