I used glycolic acid 7% toner and the next day my skin appeared red, irritated and dry. Eye area is dry and way more wrinkly than it used to be. I stopped using the toner and now am using SPF to protect my skin. It's not a permanent damage, is it? When do you think it will go back to normal?
Hi, first of all, thanks for your time. Im using this amazing glycolic acid serum, it have skin restoring ingredients like ceramides, niacinamide, peptides, hyaluronic acid, etc and is working so wonderfully in my face, like every day gets better and better, so i was wondering if it would be safe to use it around the eyes? no eyelid and being careful not too close to the eye since it's 7% pure glycolic acid or would this ruin my eye area? Thanks so much!
I used 10% glycolic acid eye lotion over my eyelids and surrounding eye area for a week to get rid of pigmentation. My eyes feel extremely tight and my eyes have actually gotten a lot smaller from it. I've discontinued the product, will the skin around my eyes return back to normal on it's own or should i be looking into treating it somehow.
i left glycolic acid 30% on the brow of my nose and it must have spread to my eye and i left it there for exactly a minute... now my eye looks a little droopy... how can i get my eye to look better? I have some damage/ unwanted effects of glycolic acid on my UPPER eye lid near the tear ducts... it made it look more depressed/caved in.. i put some 30% glycolic acid on the bridge of my nose and on the top bridge where it meets the brow and a little bit near the eye tear duct area and left it there for a min... could you tell me where else i should use glycolic acid and what precautions i should use. and could you tell me when this will or if this issue will repair its self? thanks.
I had a 50% glycolic peel yesterday and now my eyes are very swollen. I asked my dermatologist why did I have such bad swelling and she assured me that the swelling will go away. Does the swelling completely go away? I am in a panic. Please help!!
