I had an fue a year ago. The doctor seemed inexperienced and I can't go back for aftercare as it was in another country. My current predicament is discolouration in recipient area, this is not sun burn. Why may this be and how to care or make better
Hi i'm 5 days post op and am getting concerned about my donor area which doesn't appear to be healing correctly. The entire donor area skin has a lighter/whitish complexion which really stands out from the other parts of my head. If I run my hands through the region I feel very small hairs and lots of tiny little bumps and what feels like scabs. There is some numbness and minor pain as well. The other hairs on my scalp have grown much faster. Is this normal for healing and should I be worried?

Hey, 15 days after my 500 graft hairline transplant, I forgot to wear a hat for the first time out in the sun, I had 40 minutes of pretty intense sun exposure. There was no discolouration or pain for the first 2 days, but now the recipient area has turned red. I read that there is a possibility for permanent discolouration after sun exposure, is this correct? is there anything I can do to avoid this happening?
I had FUE 4 weeks ago of 2000 grafts. Eight Hundred grafts to hairline and 1200 to crown. Scabs fell off day 10. Recipient site is particularly noticeable. My skin scars easily. Is it wise to use skin fade creams? Is there anything I can do to fade the discolouration? I have a crucial event to attend in 4 weeks time. Will any products with ingredients such as azelaic acid, kojic acid or hydroquinone adversely affect the grafts or the pigment of grafts? Are there any product recommendations ?
6 weeks post op, i have dark reddish brown marks on hairline and temples. My doctor says its normal. How long till it fades and can i apply any products to accelerate healing?
