If your numbers are as stated, you should be able to have any plastic surgery that you want.  Be sure to inform your plastic surgeon of your HIV status and he or she can help you make the right decision as far as which surgery would be best for you.  Best of luck to you.

It appears that you would get the most benefit by having a tummy tuck.  It also appears that you have a hernia and that can also be repaired at that time.  Best of luck to you.

Hello, congratulations on your weight loss.  Based on your photograph, it appears that a tummy tuck what you would need in order to get the most ideal cosmetic outcome for your midsection.  Keep in mind that liposuction will only remove fat and will not tighten (or remove) any of the loose skin that you have been left with after your weight loss.  We do lots of tummy tucks and are located in The Woodlands should you decide you would like to go that route.  Best of luck to you.

Thank you for your question.  Based only on your pictures, it looks like you would be an excellent candidate for liposuction only.  If you choose your plastic surgeon carefully (remember, I said PLASTIC SURGEON b/c there are a lot of non-plastic surgeons doing liposuction in the Houston area), you should expect some good results.  Also, as you mentioned, you should not have a tummy tuck at this point in time.  I would typically only consider this once you are done having kids.  Best of luck you finding the board certified plastic surgeon that will meet your needs.

Thanks for our question.  While a Mommy Makeover (I assume you mean liposuction with a tummy tuck) is needed to help you achieve the results you are looking for, I would highly recommend adding the BBL in order to improve the shape and fullness of your buttocks.  Best of luck to you as you move forward.  Look for a board certified plastic surgeon to help you work through your options.

Thanks for your question.  Based on your picture, you would be best served with a tummy tuck.  However, I advise against doing this surgery if you plan to have more kids.  If you have the surgery before having more kids there is a reasonable likelihood that you will need a repeat tummy tuck in the future.  Make sure to visit a board certified plastic surgeon to learn about all of your options.

Thanks for your question.  You could always use a really small implant to help with the upper breast fullness that you desire or your own tissue can be used to "auto-augment" the upper portion of your breast.  You have options.  Make sure you see a board certified plastic surgeon to hear more about the options that are best for you.  Best of luck.

Should I get lipo or a tummy tuck? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Thanks for your question.  Based on your picture alone, it looks like you would likely be best served with a tummy tuck combined with some liposuction (to your flanks i.e. love handles).  While the tummy tuck does result in a little more down time I've never had a patient regret the decision.  Best of luck to you.

How much does a neck lift cost? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Thanks for your question.  In general, a neck lift is almost always done in combination with a facelift.  There are, however, a FEW patients that would benefit from a neck lift alone.  With that being said, many factors go into a surgical price and the range can be from $8,000.00-$15,000 (with the higher end numbers including a facelift with the neck lift).  Best of luck to you as you move forward.

Thanks for your question.  As others have said, it really depends on what bothers you the most.  What we see as being the area that you should focus on first may not be the area that you see first.  I always focus on my patient's concerns and not the concerns that I see first.  Best of luck to you as you make your decision.

MMO : BA, Hi-Def Tummy Tuck, Lipo 360, and BBL

I recently underwent a mommy makeover with Dr. Lind, which included a breast augmentation, hi-def tummy tuck, and a BBL. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional, and the results have truly exceeded my expectations! The staff was incredibly attentive, always available to answer questions and support me throughout the process. Their kindness and professionalism made me feel so well cared for, especially during the recovery period. Dr. Lind’s attention to detail is unmatched. After 10 pregnancies, including a challenging experience with Placenta Percreta, my body had endured a lot. My previous surgery left me with a 10-inch vertical scar through my belly button that was flat and unrecognizable. Not only did Dr. Lind create a new belly button for me, but he also completely redefined my waistline. My waist is now more snatched and sculpted than I ever imagined possible—even more defined than before I had children! The transformation has been incredible. It was a bit overwhelming at first to see such a drastically different body, but I am absolutely in LOVE with the results. My curves are lush and feminine, and I’ve never felt this confident in my own skin. Even after having 10 kids, I always considered myself relatively thin, but this body is on a whole new level! If you’re considering a mommy makeover, I can’t recommend Dr. Lind enough. He is a true artist, and the entire team makes you feel like you’re in the best hands. This experience has been life-changing, and I am so grateful!

Dr.Jeffrey Lind Liposuction Review

Nine days post-op and I am washing floors. Dr. Lind operated on my flanks, arms, and inner/outer thighs. For those of you who may be wondering, I am 57 years young. I chose Dr.Lind after going on many consults for the following reasons Far and above he made me feel the most comfortable when I was feeling the most insecure. It is not easy to stand naked in front of a total stranger, doctor or not. His office staff and nurses were so kind, easy to talk with and professional. Dr. Lind spent a very unrushed appointment explaining to both, my husband and I, what could realistically be expected for an outcome after his examination. I was very impressed that he took care to make sure he had a full understanding of my medical history, medications that I was taking etc. I know that it should be standard, but that did not happen with some of the consults. Day of surgery was so streamlined. The procedure was performed in the office within a special suite. I was prepped and ready to go within 30 minutes of my arrival at the office. The procedure was completely painless and honestly I don’t remember much. (Thank you Kelly for the nice sleep medicine). Next thing I knew, I was dressed in my compression garment, (I fondly call “the beast”) and was ready to go home. Day 1: post-op I felt great, some pain but nothing too bad Day 2: Holy cow it hurt like crazy. Pain meds needed. Lots of drainage, had to sleep with towels under me. Day 3: Still, pain is pretty bad, it seems to be shifting to different areas, hard to move, walk etc etc Took shower today and washed “the beast”. Getting her back on was a real treat, (it was awful, really awful). Forgot to tell you, I have to also wrap my upper arms in ace bandages. Bruising is pretty much in every area worked on, but mottled. There are very few areas that are dark purple and I am really happy about that. Pain meds needed. Drainage has really slowed down, only a few areas needed to be redressed. Day 4: I am still really sore but notice the more I move around the better I feel. I decided not to take any more pain meds. I do not need any dressing now, the draining of fluid has stopped. Day 5: Doing well without pain meds, me and “ the beast” are figuring out how to get along!!! Bruising is already getting better but I am still sore, especially after sitting too long. Day 6: Follow up with Dr.Lind.....Another major reason to go to this plastic surgeon! Not thrilled that I have to take off “the beast” after spending two hours to get ready but Dr.Lind wants to examine every inch of the surgical area and he does. He is so completely thorough. Day 7-8-9 I am doing great....soreness lessens greatly day by day. I am out walking and doing pretty all my normal activities. Kind of sucks though, I love my husband waiting on me, what a sweetheart! Finally, (I hope you made it this far) RESULTS!!!!!!!! (That is what we all want and why we choose our plastic surgeon) Even with the swelling I still have, I am thrilled with what I see and feel!!!!! My upper arms are noticeably slimmer! I am crossing my legging comfortably!!!! My thighs are smaller! My silhouette is more hourglass and slimmer! Make sure you include Dr. Jeffery Lind (he is in The Woodlands) in your consult list. You will be glad you did!

Elite Body Sculpture Houston

Online consultation, applying for financing, and scheduling surgery was an easy process. The day before my surgery and for my follow up appointment I was contacted to move my appointment up by 30 minutes, and unfortunately due to traffic, I was late. Each trip to Houston took over four hours and while 30 minutes may seem insignificant, it makes a difference when having to arrange for coverage of responsibilities back home. In my opinion, the atmosphere from some of the people there was less than friendly. After spending so much on the procedure, I expected a certain type of interaction and experience. My surgery was performed by Dr. Lind and if he was annoyed by me being late, it wasn’t overt. I was able to relax during my procedure and maybe even nap. The numbing process is the worst part of the entire procedure. The procedure felt like a vibration and at times I was ticklish. The day following my procedure I received a follow up phone call from the nurse asking how I was doing, which was appreciated. I was pretty swollen the day of my follow up which may have been due to me being folded up in my car for 4.5 hours. Even so, I could definitely notice a difference in my body. Dr. Lind said my max results will not be evident for 6 months, which I am okay with because I know all bodies heal differently. My compression garment provided after surgery became too big so the nurse recommended a Houston store where I could buy a new garment, which I did, and it has been better. I am nervous about loose skin, but that was a known risk prior to the procedure so I will just have to wait for final results-I’m being cautiously optimistic. Dr. Lind kept some fat to help lessen the loose skin issue. The most bruised area was my tailbone. I also had brief bruising in my pubic area and a small bruise on my left flank. The tailbone and flanks have also felt the most tight and uncomfortable. For the first few weeks I slept with a pillow under my knees to relieve some of the pressure on my tailbone. I personally like the snug feeling of the compression garment so I don’t mind wearing it. I have some uneven swelling but was told it should even out and from what I’ve researched, it is not unusual. I would recommend Dr. Lind because he is a board certified Plastic Surgeon, patient, engaged in conversation with me, was attentive, and I think he did what he thought would give me my best results. Sciton Contour TRL - 39 Yrs old

After many years of tanning beds, years in the sun and just not taking care of my skin I was looking to maybe get some years back. For the last couple years I have felt I looked a lot older than I am and just started feeling depressed. I had a VI Peel and 3 microneedling procedures that didn’t do a thing but reduce my bank account. Not yet wanting to go to the extreme of a face lift I found the Sciton Laser. Seeing the before and after photos I said I had to have that! I researched Dr.’s in my area that had the Sciton Laser because I didn’t want the Co2 resurfacing. I found Dr Lind in the Woodlands. His patient reviews about him and his staff were great so I went for a consult in August. I felt really at easy with him and Bridget. They were great! He told me about the different procedures the Sciton laser does and I decided on the deeper resurfacing treatment called TRL Contour because of the depth of my lines and wrinkles. After thinking on it about another 2 and a half months and finally made my appointment. So I had it done on November 21st. I wasn’t having a full face done, just under my eyes, my forehead and around my mouth. I was given a prescription for pain meds and anti-anxiety meds to take on the way to the office to take a bit of the edge off. For some reason they didn’t really help me but I still went head with it. Dr. Lind injected a nerve block in my forehead, around my mouth as well as inside my my lower lip around the gum line and around my eyes. The forehead was no problem but the other injections were extremely painful. Then I set and wait for the numbing to work and they brought me back to the laser room. Put shields on my eyes and away he went. I didn’t feel a thing but the smell was awful. I could really only smell it when he did my upper lip so I guess it wasn’t all that bad. Afterwards my sister had to drive me home. I wasn’t in any pain just yet. Within an hour or so the burning started. Everyone says it feels like a really bad sunburn. I also describe it as feeling like getting slapped over and over and over again. Updated on 25 Nov 2017: Later in the evening the same day the bleeding started which is normal. Still just have burning pain but also very tired. Exhausting day but worth it. That first night I probably applied way more Aquaphor than needed but I didn’t want to risk drying out. I set up my bed with and old pregnancy pillow then two more pillows on top of that and also used an airplane neck pillow to get comfortable to sleep elevated. I took two pain pills as well and slept pretty good considering I’m usually a stomach sleeper. Updated on 25 Nov 2017: Well I woke up looking like I went a few rounds in a boxing match. Very swollen in between my eyes. This day was a hard one because I kept getting really nauseous and having a bad headache. I think it was just the overall shock my body was taking in. Every time I had to get up and do anything around the house the nausea got worse. I wasn’t taking the pain meds during the day so I knew it wasn’t that. I forgot to mention that I’m using ice packs on my face to help with the burning as well as swelling. I put Saran Wrap around the towel so it doesn’t dry up the aquaphor and stick to my face. It really helps. Updated on 25 Nov 2017: Swelling in down a bit so I didn’t look too bad for my family on Thanksgiving. Red is now turning pink. Still feeling nauseous but not as bad. Finally started peeling after washing my face in the evening. Felt a little itch here and there as I was falling asleep but not too bad. Updated on 25 Nov 2017: Much better! No nausea. Still peeling and looking great. Nothing much to say just posting pix. Updated on 25 Nov 2017: Updated on 29 Nov 2017: Just got the ok for no more aquaphor yay!! I think that was the worst part! I had to let Dawn dish soap sit and soak on my hairline for 20 minutes just to get Aquaphor out of my hair. It was horrible. My face is healing nicely and the swelling is all gone. My 5 year old tells me she can’t wait for me to not look like a zombie. :) Updated on 29 Nov 2017: Updated on 29 Nov 2017: I have to go a few places today after work so I put on some gentle moisturizer and the Bare Minerals liquid foundation and topped it with some Bare Minerals press’s powder. Covered up the bruises with some Tarte concealer because they aren’t in the areas of the laser. It’s nice to not look so freakish :) I cant wait for final results but I know they take time. Updated on 21 Dec 2017: Still dealing with redness but that was to be expected. I am loving my results! Even more so when I put the before and afters together. The two deep lines right above my upper lip are sill my biggest concern and I’m hoping they get better with time. I’m also concerned with the way my eyes look when I smile. The doctor said it is more than likely because they are still swollen underneath. Which I understand because that is a sensitive area and the skin is so thin. So more waiting on that ;-) This procedure is not for someone that lacks patience I can vouch for that. Updated on 6 Jun 2018: Sorry I haven’t been on in so long just been busy. So after putting my before and afters together tonight I realized this procedure helped a lot. My forehead looks amazing! But I still look in the mirror or see pictures and wish some things were different but I believe that’s going to take actual surgery, like having my upper and lower eyelids done and possibly a lower facelift for the jowls. I still wish I had my full face done with this procedure and the PS had been more aggressive around my mouth. I loath the two deep lines right above my lip. I will probably be looking soon for a doctor in town that can do the full face. I really don’t want all that down time again or the strange looks from other people probably thinking “what the heck happened to you?” But you gotta do what you gotta do right ;)

So happy I've made the right choice!

Dr. Lind is one of the best surgeons in the Woodland area. I never felt rushed at my appointments and he sees me at least once every week to make sure everything is going good. I am now 5 weeks post op breast augmentation and I look and feel great! I intially wanted less CC's but Dr. Lind was honest and told me I would need to go bigger to achieve my wish pics. So, I decided to take my hands off the wheel and let him do his thing. When I woke up from surgery, I was sooo happy I allowed him to work his magic!!!! He always made me feel comfortable and secure under his care. I am going to miss him and Melissa once my post appointments are done. Photos coming soon

I felt well cared for by Dr. Lind and his staff

After two pregnancies and breastfeeding both kids I had diastasis recti which no amount of exercise was going to correct and wide flat breasts. I had a consult and ultimately chose to proceed with the mommy makeover (tummy tuck and breast lift and augmentation) with Dr. Lind because I liked his frankness about what the surgery could and could not do as well as his laid back attitude so I never felt pressured to have anything else done that I didn't already express an interest in. I am so very pleased with the results. Dr. Lind and Melissa have taken very good care of me, and I really appreciated seeing them so frequently those first few weeks after the surgery.

Amazing Surgeon & Amazing Staff!!

My experience has been wonderful from the second I walked into the office. Melissa is incredible and does a fantastic job making you feel so comfortable and at ease. Dr. Lind's attention to detail is impeccable. He absolutely takes into account your goals and desired outcome, whilst still voicing his expertise on what he feels would give you the best result. Dr. Lind was so thorough and informative in my consultation, never once making the appointment feel rushed. It is so apparent that Dr. Lind and his staff put his patients care above all else. They have gone above and beyond what I could have imagined. I could not be happier with my results and experience, I am so thankful that I chose The Lind Institute of Plastic Surgery.
