Dr.Jeffrey Lind Liposuction Review

WORTH IT
Nine days post-op and I am washing floors. Dr. Lind operated on my flanks, arms, and inner/outer thighs. For those of you who may be wondering, I am 57 years young.
I chose Dr.Lind after going on many consults for the following reasons
Far and above he made me feel the most comfortable when I was feeling the most insecure. It is not easy to stand naked in front of a total stranger, doctor or not. His office staff and nurses were so kind, easy to talk with and professional. Dr. Lind spent a very unrushed appointment explaining to both, my husband and I, what could realistically be expected for an outcome after his examination.
I was very impressed that he took care to make sure he had a full understanding of my medical history, medications that I was taking etc. I know that it should be standard, but that did not happen with some of the consults.
Day of surgery was so streamlined. The procedure was performed in the office within a special suite. I was prepped and ready to go within 30 minutes of my arrival at the office. The procedure was completely painless and honestly I don’t remember much. (Thank you Kelly for the nice sleep medicine). Next thing I knew, I was dressed in my compression garment, (I fondly call “the beast”) and was ready to go home.
Day 1: post-op I felt great, some pain but nothing too bad
Day 2: Holy cow it hurt like crazy. Pain meds needed. Lots of drainage, had to sleep with towels under me.
Day 3: Still, pain is pretty bad, it seems to be shifting to different areas, hard to move, walk etc etc
Took shower today and washed “the beast”. Getting her back on was a real treat, (it was awful, really awful). Forgot to tell you, I have to also wrap my upper arms in ace bandages. Bruising is pretty much in every area worked on, but mottled. There are very few areas that are dark purple and I am really happy about that. Pain meds needed. Drainage has really slowed down, only a few areas needed to be redressed.
Day 4: I am still really sore but notice the more I move around the better I feel. I decided not to take any more pain meds. I do not need any dressing now, the draining of fluid has stopped.
Day 5: Doing well without pain meds, me and “ the beast” are figuring out how to get along!!! Bruising is already getting better but I am still sore, especially after sitting too long.
Day 6: Follow up with Dr.Lind.....Another major reason to go to this plastic surgeon! Not thrilled that I have to take off “the beast” after spending two hours to get ready but Dr.Lind wants to examine every inch of the surgical area and he does. He is so completely thorough.
Day 7-8-9 I am doing great....soreness lessens greatly day by day. I am out walking and doing pretty all my normal activities. Kind of sucks though, I love my husband waiting on me, what a sweetheart!
Finally, (I hope you made it this far)
RESULTS!!!!!!!! (That is what we all want and why we choose our plastic surgeon)
Even with the swelling I still have, I am thrilled with what I see and feel!!!!!
My upper arms are noticeably slimmer!
I am crossing my legging comfortably!!!! My thighs are smaller!
My silhouette is more hourglass and slimmer!
Make sure you include Dr. Jeffery Lind (he is in The Woodlands) in your consult list. You will be glad you did!

Thank you so very much for your thorough review of our practice. We realize the time and effort that it requires to sit down to type all of this up and we are very grateful. :)
