With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Y. Anthony Nakamura is a recognized expert in plastic surgery and body contouring, providing excellent care while taking a personal approach with each and every patient. Dr. Nakamura is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and affiliated with the American Medical Association, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, and Texas Medical Association. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Nakamura’s education includes a B.A., Zoology UT, Austin; M.D., UTMB, Galveston; Intern resident, and general surgery, LSU School of Medicine, Charity Hospital New Orleans; and Plastic Surgery resident, UTMB, Galveston. Dr. Nakamura is also affiliated with the Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital, and Medical Center of Arlington. Our practice has a fully accredited, free-standing surgery center with at least five nurses in the building to assist with the care of our patients and their families.
