I've been wanting a breast augmentation for the past 5 yrs and finally went for it! Before having kids I was a nice full B cup. During my pregnancies I went up to a DD. After having my last child I lost everything I ever had! I am pretty skinny and let's face it, skinny girls rarely have boobs! I missed being proportionate, I was as flat as a board, barely a 32A. I was tired of wearing a padded bra, not looking nice in outfits, some not even fitting, and its a horrible feeling to not want to be bra-less in front of your husband of 12yrs. I hated myself, I cried all the time. I researched a ton, found a great surgeon, and had my surgery last Friday, Nov 8th. I went with 350cc hp silicone under the muscles.

I'm 2 wks post op today! Not much has changed yet. They're still sitting high and tight (right is worse). I'm still feeling tight and sore, some days more than others, but overall much better than last week. I'm slowly and carefully trying to get back into my normal routine, just with alot less energy. My back has been killing me though! Had my 1st post op appt with my surgeon and he said everything looks good and going as expected. Told me to start light massages. He also gave me a very tight compression bra to wear 24/7 for the next month which is killing me! It squeezes really hard and digs into my sides and back :(

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I feel like the healing time is going soooo slow! I do think they're starting to look a little better now and rounding out a bit. Definitely getting softer! Bruises are fading and my incisons don't bother me at all. Doing light massages and got a bigger bra. I'm also feeling better and able to do more. My back pain has almost gone away too, thankfully! The only time I really feel uncomfortable is when I lay down to sleep or sit back to relax. I feel a weird pulling/pressure/tightening feeling on the top of my right breast. If I move or take deep breaths the feeling gets worse but as soon as I stand or sit up the feeling goes away. I'm thinking it's my muscle contracting or spasming.. or maybe my implant is sitting on a nerve? Anyone have any ideas? It's only at the very top and sometimes I can feel it go up into my shoulder. It sucks because I need to sit up to sleep :(

I must say that I have been feeling more like myself this past week. The pain and tightness is finally gone! No morning boob! I just get the occasional muscle spasms and zingers from my nerves healing but nothing I can't handle. The scabs fell off my incisions and they look and feel alot better too. I also had a follow up appt with my surgeon and he said everything looked great! He said I could start using silicone gel scar sheets on my incisions and compression bra during the day and braless at night... it has changed my life for sure. Sleeping is sooo much better now! I don't get the muscle spasms if I'm braless, not sure why. I posted some pictures of pre op vs 2 wks post op vs today. What a difference! I'm finally starting to enjoy my new addition!!

Back to myself again! It was a rough couple of weeks but I can finally say this was worth it! I'm so happy now! They are alot softer, have dropped alot more, and no more weird feelings! So far I seem to be a 32DD ????

Can't believe it's been over 3 months!! They're so soft and my incisions look great. I still have a little numbness and tenderness under my left boob but seems to be getting better. That is where my only bruise was, not sure if that's the reason. I did notice my right has dropped more over the past month and evened out the upper pole some. Very happy about that! My left is a bit behind though which is frustrating because they're a little uneven now, but I heard they drop and fluff at different rates plus I'm right handed. I have an appt next week with my surgeon so I will update again then.

Had my 3.5 month post op today. He said everything looks great! My right is almost there but left is a bit behind, as to be expected. Will take a few more months for mine to drop completely and could be sore for about a year. But he said I can wear whatever bra I want! Yay! So happy!!!!

I'm feeling great now. Completely back to normal. They're very soft and I feel like they are apart of me. I actually forgot what I looked like before boobs lol. However, I am getting VERY impatient with my left! No matter what I do it will not come down to where my right is. My surgeon told me it could take up to a year but I'm feeling hopeless right now. It's been long enough!

I decided to come back after a few months and make a 9 month post op update. It feels amazing to finally fill out clothing, swim suits, and wear whatever bra I want! Never once did I regret my decision and I'd go through it all over again. But I am a tiny bit disappointed... my left side is still behind. It looks better than it did at 5 months but with approaching my 1 year mark, I am worried it won't change much. Did anyone else go through this before? Have they dropped after 9 months? Please, if anyone has advice I'd love to hear it! I really do not want a revision.
