9 months post op

I decided to come back after a few months and make a 9 month post op update. It feels amazing to finally fill out clothing, swim suits, and wear whatever bra I want! Never once did I regret my decision and I'd go through it all over again. But I am a tiny bit disappointed... my left side is still behind. It looks better than it did at 5 months but with approaching my 1 year mark, I am worried it won't change much. Did anyone else go through this before? Have they dropped after 9 months? Please, if anyone has advice I'd love to hear it! I really do not want a revision.

Almost 5 months post op
I'm feeling great now. Completely back to normal. They're very soft and I feel like they are apart of me. I actually forgot what I looked like before boobs lol. However, I am getting VERY impatient with my left! No matter what I do it will not come down to where my right is. My surgeon told me it could take up to a year but I'm feeling hopeless right now. It's been long enough!

They look great!! We have similar before stats and my surgery had been rescheduled to 6/25 due to COVID. I was all set to get 400cc saline but now I'm worried they may be too big. Lol.
Is it possible you could share more of a full body shot? I'm 5'2", 120lbs, A cup and hoping to end up full C, small D. Maybe 350-360 would be better. I do have my before pics in the review I've started.
Thank you for sharing your journey!

Thanks Nessa1123! I'm so sorry to hear your surgery had to be postponed! Life is all messed up right now, its terrible. Actually, I almost went with saline too but changed my mind to silicone because I didn't have much breast tissue to cover and didn't want them to be hard or be able to see as much rippling. Even at 6 months post op with silicone I still feel like they could be softer! Sometimes I notice a little rippling but it's because I'm looking for it lol. Just a heads up since you have a small frame as well. Also, in the beginning I wished I would've went bigger, like 400, but I'm very glad I didn't. I'm busting out of my DD bras now so I ordered a 32DDD!! As they drop and fluff they get bigger. It seems you have a bit more breast tissue to start with than I did so a 400 would most likely bring you to an E for sure. I would double check with your surgeon though since everyone is different. I will post a more full body picture in a bit.

Just wondering if your left ever dropped more. I am 5 months this week and still battling my right. Sometimes it looks ok and sometimes I hate it. The left is perfect. Not sure what to expect at this point.

@Mmartinrn. I've been told it takes 1 year to fully settle but I know how frustrating it is! My left has dropped a little more but it still hasn't fully caught up with my right. My nipples are almost lined up now but the bottom of my right is still fuller, if that makes sense. I will post new pics in a little bit. It's not noticeable in clothing anymore though which is great! But I need it to drop more, I can't imagine this being my final product. My husband says it looks great and he doesn't know what I'm talking about lol. I have a post op appt next week and I'm going to ask him if there's something else I can do. But I doubt he will fix it until I hit the 1 year mark. I hope yours even out, please keep me posted!

I am experiencing the same exact thing. My husband doesn’t see it (or so he says) but the bottom of my left is so round and full and the right is narrower. It is driving me nuts. I try to be patient but I randomly break down and feel very upset. Is that your dominant side? I was thinking maybe that was why mine was like that but I’m really not sure. It makes it look smaller and it makes me super self conscious. I just hit 5 months this week so the more them goes by the more I worry. Let me know what your dr tells you.

Yes I feel the same way! The more time that goes by the more bothered I get. I'm trying my hardest to stay positive and believe my surgeon but it's sooo hard! My surgeon tells me it's because I'm so small and barely had any tissue but yet I see others with the same stats that got immediate results and it upsets me! My right is my dominant. I heard that the more you use that side the faster it settles but everyone is different. I wonder if mine has something to do with the bruise I had after surgery. I only had 1 and it was on the bottom of my left. The bruise lasted a while and sometimes it's still a little sensitive there but I showed my doctor when I had it but he wasn't concerned at all. He thought they looked great but I can't help but think it might have something to do with it. I will let you know what he says next week.

I’m very small as well. I had next to no breast tissue but like you I was watching others progress and 8 weeks and 12 weeks they looked perfect

Just realized our stats are the same. I’m 5’3 113lbs. He did 300 in one side and 325 in the other to try to correct asymmetry but the smaller implant is the higher one.

So I had my appt and he confirmed it's riding a bit high yet. He said that my right dropped more because I use it more so I must be massaging my left constantly. He also told me to stretch the pocket out. I discovered that I have not been massaging hard enough at all! If its still high in 6 months he will move it down surgically.

He said I don't have any signs of capsular contracture though, that was my biggest fear! It's soft, just not as soft as my right. I can't believe we have the same stats! Lol. My right is also a bit bigger so that helped to drop it faster too.

3 and a half months, new bra's!!!!
Had my 3.5 month post op today. He said everything looks great! My right is almost there but left is a bit behind, as to be expected. Will take a few more months for mine to drop completely and could be sore for about a year. But he said I can wear whatever bra I want! Yay! So happy!!!!

Sounds like the PS confirmed what I just posted on the other response. I didn't realized you replied on my comment bc my notifications sometimes don't go through on this app. It has a mind if it's own, lol. Love the bras!! Hang in there. I took a bit too w/the d&f. Check out my review sometime.

So I checked out your review, you continued to drop at 1 year?! That gives me hope. My left is still far behind. I hope nothing is wrong. It feels great though. No pain and it's just as soft as the right. I don't go back to the ps until May, I'm hoping by then they are more symmetrical!

Isn't bra shopping so fun now!? It's interesting how the dropping and fluffing takes different amounts of time for different people. Looking awesome!

Yes it's amazing!! I love everything now! I'm getting very impatient with my side not dropping completely though. I've been trying to go braless as much as possible too. It sucks!
