I had my reduction surgery 1 year ago and I have no complaints. He is not one for small talk but is willing to answer all of your questions if you have them. He is very knowledgeable and did a phenomenal job with my reduction. Highly recommended!

My experience with Dr Vander Woude was fabulous!!! During the initial consultation. He was very thorough and took his time explaining everything. Everything after that went well and he took great care of everything post op. I recommend him to everyone.!!

A little backstory…I’m 31 years old, mother of 2. I nursed both of my kids for 18 months a piece but prior to that I wore a 34 D bra, I’m now in a B or sometimes C cup. I was also quite curvy in my teenage years but lost about 80 pounds when I got out of high school so there’s been a lot of weight fluctuations. So my girls are SAD. I’m currently 5’7” 145-150 pounds. After years of wanting implants, I’m officially 6 days away from my surgery. I ended up switching doctors because my first doctor was very adamant that he would only do a ‘natural’ looking implant (450cc) on me and that’s not what I’m going for. My new doctor understood the assignment and is in agreement with the size I needed to achieve the look I want (650-700cc). I’m a bit nervous but overall ready to get it over with so I can start healing. I’m going with a high profile silicone implant under the muscle. I will be posting pictures of before and after as soon as possible Updated on 5 May 2023: Everything turned out great! Ended up going with a 605cc implant instead of the original 650-700 and I’m SO glad. I’m allergic to most pain killers so I’m going cold turkey on the healing process. My doctor said that anymore than the 605 and I would have been in even more pain so he didn’t think it was a good idea. I am right on the edge of needing a lift but I didn’t get one this time. I figure I’ll wait 5-10 years and jump to 700cc with my lift :) I’ll post better pictures tomorrow after my shower Updated on 9 May 2023: Overall I feel great, as long as I’m taking it easy. I made the mistake of trying to grocery shop yesterday and ended up ditching my cart and calling my partner to come get me haha. The girls are still sitting very high but that was for be expected. I’ll keep updating every 2-4 weeks from here on out Updated on 6 Jun 2023: I bought this bikini top thinking it’d fit super well after. But it seems I need a larger size hahahaha I’m NOT mad about it either. The girls are still sitting pretty high up and look very stuck on but they’re slowly settling :) Updated on 12 Aug 2023: We are 3 months post op! I say ‘we’ because there’s basically 3 of us haha! My doctor gave me the go ahead to go back to my normal activities, dirt biking included! I’m so happy with my results. I had to take a picture of the before and after pictures that my doctor gave me because I don’t have before pictures of my own

Dr Vander Woude did my breast reduction and has been INCREDIBLE during the healing process and all of it actually. I had a few healing hiccups and he reassured me. During our consultation he was very kind about my anxieties and how nervous I was.

Dr. Vander Woude was referred to me by a plastic surgeon in the GR area who had retired. I was a little nervous about the surgery since it is on my face (my eye lids) and it's the first thing a person sees when they meet you and what I will see moving forward. The pre-op procedure was exactly what I thought it would be - clear, to the point, and thorough. The procedure itself was a piece of cake - I was awoken during the procedure intentionally so the time spent in recovery was short. VERY minimal bruising - no pain - and minimal swelling.

Dr. Vander Woude is my surgeon and performed a breast reduction Sept 2022. I've had daily neck kinks (like when you have to turn your shoulders to look beside you) and low back pain. I stopped going to bootcamp workouts and stopped all weight lifting. I've needed/wanted a reduction for years. Here I am 6 weeks post op and haven't had a stiff neck or low back pain since before surgery. I truly didn't realize how bad it was until it wasn't. Recovery has been smooth but I am dealing with a few hiccups post op. PSA staff have seen me several times post op for wound evals and pokey stitches. When I panicked over a gnarly nippy, Dr Vander Woude gave me reassurance that I needed to hear. I think it's important to highlight expectations for breast reduction. My goal was to eliminate back and neck pain. Achieved! Scars and post op wound care is whatev's. Dr. Vander Woude and the staff at Plastic Surgery Associates are top notch. Highly recommend. Will update with pics in a few months. The new bewbs aren't photo ready.

The staff here are exceptional! Every single person was so friendly and informative with the whole process. I had a breast augmentation done and anytime I messaged the staff with questions after the procedure they immediately put my worries to rest. They are so understanding and truly care about how you're healing every step of the way. I highly recommend plastic surgery associates and Dr. VanderWoude. They are the best!

Dr. Vander Woude is very nice and went out of his way to make sure I was always comfortable. He did an amazing job. It has helped so much with myself confidence and appearance. The drive was far but I would recommend him to anyone looking for a breast reduction. Truly worth it.
