Haven't had a stiff neck or lower back pain since before surgery

Dr. Vander Woude is my surgeon and performed a breast reduction Sept 2022. I've had daily neck kinks (like when you have to turn your shoulders to look beside you) and low back pain. I stopped going to bootcamp workouts and stopped all weight lifting. I've needed/wanted a reduction for years. Here I am 6 weeks post op and haven't had a stiff neck or low back pain since before surgery. I truly didn't realize how bad it was until it wasn't.
Recovery has been smooth but I am dealing with a few hiccups post op. PSA staff have seen me several times post op for wound evals and pokey stitches. When I panicked over a gnarly nippy, Dr Vander Woude gave me reassurance that I needed to hear.
I think it's important to highlight expectations for breast reduction. My goal was to eliminate back and neck pain. Achieved! Scars and post op wound care is whatev's. Dr. Vander Woude and the staff at Plastic Surgery Associates are top notch. Highly recommend.
