I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Aitken. I chose her because I had four friends who went to her and were very happy with their results.

I saw Dr. Aitken twice for consultations. She patiently answered my questions, addressed my concerns, and never made me feel rushed.

The day of my surgery went flawlessly. The staff are all kind and efficient. Dr. Aitken has a confidence and calmness about her that really put me at ease.

I had a maxtopexy with implants. After years of having saggy breasts that rested on my rib cage, I awoke from surgery with breast that no longer laid on the skin beneath them. The results were better than I even imagined. The recovery was uneventful. I was concerned during my consultations about being too big but Dr. Aitken listened to me and I am exactly the size I was hoping for.

Dr. Aitken is not only an amazing surgeon but also an artist!

I could not have asked for a better experience with Dr. Renucci and his staff. My results are far beyond expectations. He listened to me, and earned my trust. I'm a year post op now, and my scars are practically non existent, and I love how he did my belly button. In my 4 week post op photo, you can see how thin and neat my incisions are, and the scar around my waist is perfectly positioned to be easily hidden in any style of underwear or bathing suit I choose to wear. My breast lift left my breasts far more perky than I ever could have dreamed of.

I had my reduction surgery 1 year ago and I have no complaints. He is not one for small talk but is willing to answer all of your questions if you have them. He is very knowledgeable and did a phenomenal job with my reduction. Highly recommended!

Hands down I would highly recommend Dr. John Renucci with Plastic surgery associates.
I personally had a hernia repaired, dystaci recti repaired, abdominal Plasty, and liposuction done in September I would highly recommend this procedure to be done for anyone that has had children that needs there self confidence boosted. The staff here at PSA are all absolutely amazing and truly care about there patients.

Dr. Renucci & all of his staff are very welcoming and willing to answer all questions you have. He’s very detailed and understanding- takes his time at telling you all about your procedure and what to expect.
The night of surgery he calls himself to check on you and the following day his nurse calls to check in. They are easy to get ahold of. Highly recommend him!

Dr. Aitken listened to what I wanted and made it happen. She described all the details of what my final outcome would look like and what to expect for recovery. I was slightly nervous going into the procedure because I saw other breast lift before and after photos from other plastic surgeons in the US and didn't like how their procedures looked. I really wanted to just do a breast lift without implants, have them high and perky, yet natural looking. I cried tears of joy the first time I saw myself post-surgery, and the outcome just gets better and better as they continue healing. My before and after photos are exactly what I was hoping for. Dr. Aitken did a beautiful job and her team was fabulous. They answered every question and concern I sent their way via a secure text line. My only wish is that I wouldn't have hesitated for years and I would have had this done years ago. I feel like a new woman! THANK YOU!

I am a 47 year old mom of 3. With just diet and exercise, I never would have gotten rid of the excess skin on my midsection. That's where Dr. Renucci came in. I knew after my consultation that he was he perfect doctor to do my procedure. He is very knowledgeable and has an amazing bedside manner. Answered all of my questions and took his time showing my husband what he would do. I had a Mastopexy with implants and a circumferential body lift.

I am currently 12 days po and I feel pretty good. Stitches are healing and the drains are gone. Honestly, the drains are the worst part of the surgery. With lipo coming in a close second.



My advice for anyone looking to get this procedure done is..

1. Listen to your doctor!!

2. Walk around every couple hours

3. Stay hydrated

4. Stay on top of the pain.

5. Take it easy and let your body heal.



Is this surgery painful? I'm not going to lie. Yes, it hurts. Your skin is tight and you feel like you'll rip in half. But, ladies (and a few men) you won't regret it. The pain is temporary. You'll feel better about your body and proud to show it off.

13 days po.. First 2 mile walk today. One incision is looking pretty gnarly but the antibiotics are helping. Soreness is down and swelling is down as well. Breasts are starting to ache a bit, like when your menstrual is coming. Nothing too bad. Taking Motrin for pain and that helps a lot. Arnica gel works wonders. I've been putting it on my bruises and they are almost gone. I'll try to update photos and my journey weekly:)

Here are a few before and after pictures. I can also add that Arnica works! Definitely eat and stay hydrated. I had mini protein shakes and snacks. Colace is highly recommended. Norco will cause constipation and you really don't want to strain your abs. You don't realize how often you use your ab muscles!

I am 3 months post-op and saw Dr. Renucci for updated pictures and had the scars lasered. Let me say, I am still amazed at what Dr. Renucci can do! Not only did he go above and beyond my expectations, he renewed my confidence. I no longer look in the mirror and hate what I see looking back. I cannot praise him enough. His entire staff at PSA in Grand Rapids is amazing and so supportive.
