Tl; dr: I had a great experience at Grand Pearl, aside from getting lost in the building. Some background: I have a bad habit of scrunching my forehead, AND furrowing my eyebrows, almost constantly...it's kind of like clenching/grinding my teeth, because I do it without meaning to. I also don't notice that I'm scrunching my forehead and eyebrows until they actually hurt. I wanted to start a Botox regimen to relieve the constant "facial headache" I have from overusing those muscles, as well as to prevent future wrinkling from the repetitive movement. I read an extensive number of reviews, on multiple platforms, before deciding to book with Pam. My first appointment with her went very smoothly. She spent a lot of time asking me questions, and really listened to my answers. I felt like we were on the same page, and Pam completely understood my goals. She also provided a ton of patient education - before, during, and after my treatment. She explained each step of the process throughout my appointment. The injections were basically painless, just felt a bit "pokey". Once my injections were complete, Pam sat with me for a few more minutes and iced my forehead. By the time I met a friend for dinner, I had no redness, swelling, bruising, or red marks on my face. I had a mild headache and some slight nausea for about an hour after my appointment...both symptoms resolved without any medication. It's only been about 24 hours since my appointment, but I can already see some relaxation of my facial muscles. My only real complaint is that getting around the Amway Grand Plaza can be EXTREMELY confusing. The parking ramp and valet are NOT well marked as "Amway", and there are others on the same block. If you pick the wrong ramp, you will have a long walk to the spa. Once you get inside, none of the elevators are marked, including the service elevators that are right next to guest elevators. Some of the elevators also require a room key; others do not - again, none are marked, so it's all trial and error. Most of the elevators don't even have directories. There is also very little signage in the building, and some of the signs are confusing - for example, one sign says "Spa and Salon", with an arrow pointing to the right...but you actually need to go straight, not turn down the hallway. Although the Grand Pearl doesn't own the building (and therefore cannot control the signage), it was very frustrating as a first-time patient. The entrance off of Lyon Street is closest to the spa elevators, although it isn't well marked from the outside. Once you get in the doors, though, this will be the easiest entrance from which to find the spa. However, this isn't a front entrance to the plaza, so you may need to park and walk awhile to get there. I strongly suggest looking at some Google photos of the entrances and parking/valet options, before you go.
Leesha paid very close attention to what my skin needed and made sure I was comfortable and aware of every step during my Hydrafacial. My skin feels great and I left extremely satisfied. Can’t wait for my next appointment!
I have been here for a couple different services. I highly recommend Deanna for hair removal and Pam for Botox. I’m always very happy with my results. The whole staff is very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend!
I really enjoyed going to the Grand Pearl Spa. From the moment you walk in the door the girls at the front desk are very friendly. The office is absolutely gorgeous. Pam and her assistant Nicole are the best. I would never go anywhere else for filler or Botox. Pam does such a great job, she is so skilled at what she does and very artistic. I have gone to other places to have Botox and filler and I feel as though Pam far surpasses any one!!
