A: It seems at this point, it is more likely to be the fat causing this problem. To my knowledge the only way to fix this problem is to extract some of the fat through small incisions on the underside of the lip. Filler most likely would be resolved by now.
A: The scar appears to be healing well. There is no evidence of infection and the there is no separation of the edges.
A: Most plastic surgeons will slightly overfill as not all the fat survives or "takes". You may also still have some post op swelling present. It takes a few months to determine the end result or how much fat truly survived. I would wait a couple months before deciding on any further procedures. You may be happy with the result.
A: Thanks for your inquiry. Fibroid by themselves are not a contraindication for surgery. The only time of concern is if they are causing excessive bleeding and affecting your hemoglobin level.
