Smart Lipo on arms & back

i recently had smart lipo in June of 2021 on my arms and back. My experience was great. The pain was minimum because my doctor was very good at numbing me. I'm only 80% happy but i don't blame that on my doc. I had traditional lipo in 2016 on my arms. My original doc didn't do so well with my arms. He left a pocket of fat around one arm where it looks like i had a rubber-band wrapped around my upper arm. After the swelling went down from my smart lipo the pocket of fat which looks like a knot is still there. Not as big as it originally was though. My lipo doc Chambon is amazing at Smart Lipo. I appreciate him and Jeannie. They both worked really hard at making sure I was happy with my results. 8mos post still healing.  #smartlipo #2016TummyTuck #2016TradionalLipoAs an incentive for posting a review, this reviewer received an entry into RealSelf’s monthly $500 gift card giveaway. Arm and bra row lipo - I'm a proven fact it does work

I had arm and bra row lipo done on June 15th by Dr. Chambon at Reflection body solutions located in OPKS. I had a bulge that was on the back of my arm left from the doc who did my TT 5 years ago. Must be something with the right side for my TT doc (lol). Dr. Chambon also corrected another area on my right side in 2020 that was left there from my TT surgery in 2016. Dr. Chambon and his entire staff are amazing. Very attentive and professional. I'm very very pleased with my results. The Dr's nurse Jeannie is absolutely the best. They are a great team. She assisted him during the procedure and points out areas that may need more attention too. Everything went great. It did not hurt at all. The only uncomfortable part was the angle my arm was in.I appreciate everyone at reflections. One of the best in the KC Metropolitan area. My only con is I wish we could have got this boob fat (that's what it's called) lol. I will get in the gym to correct that and build more muscles and if that doesn't work... I I'll be going back to let Dr. C fix it. Lol. If you're on the fence about Smart lipo and a plastic surgeon is saying it's a gimmick....don't listen. Only Doc that would say that is one who isn't skilled in this area. I'm a proven fact it does work.

Dysport and latisse

I’ve now been to Reflections 3 times I think. First off, I love the Dr. He just really has that natural way of putting you at ease immediately. He touched up on my crows feet that I had done at a different med spa from which I didn’t get full results from, and that particular spa overcharged me big time, hence why I switched to reflections. I had him do a “Botox lip pop” or “lip flip” with the dysport-2 units per side. Also did my forehead just a tiny bit. And a brow lift, except with the brow lift, one brow was still mobile and would raise way higher than the other which I noticed about 4 days later. So I called to have him take a look. He was able to fix it with just one little injection now they’re perfect, and the best thing, (during my previous visit they had a special on dysport, which had ended) but he still charged me that special price of $5/unit not jut for the brow but also the way xtra lip pop and forehead. There’s a GREAT points system they use and I was able to use my points and buy a 5ml of Latisse and with using all my points, I think I ended up paying like 10$ literally, out of pocket. The staff is so nice and knowledgeable I even got a few free skincare samples. Would 100% recommend to anyone. Next stop- fillers? I’m only recommending for Botox and dysport as that’s the only thing I’ve had done. But they’re the best and most cost effective in my opinion! Have referred quite a few friends as well now too. ????

My Juvederm Lip Augmentation - Overland Park, KS

I have been obsessed since my first botox injections 7/11 with the idea of getting my full luscious early 20's lips back. It started with a tease of pout and fullness with 4 units of botox in the upper lip. I had almost forgotten how amazingly full my lips once were and this was a subtle change but enough to make me stroll down memory lane. I'm 39, and have smoked for 20 years... Subsequently destroying my lips. So. I tripped down memory lane and I began research on dermal fillers, pro's and con's.. Differences in the products, read every scary story and about every bad reaction. I watched every video on youtube and closely gawked at every before and after image on google. I researched med spas all over the country because I travel for work and have the convenience of going to the best injector I could find. I fought with my boyfriend for weeks, although we aren't married I thought we may get divorced before this obsession of mine was over. I went with a friend in St. Louis 7/25 for her first botox and I got a little more this time doing my bottom lip as well as crows feet. She decided while we were there to fill her laugh lines with juvederm.. So there I was watching the procedure (kinda)!! After I saw her results and her swipe of the credit card I thought long and hard on the "is it worth it" question. I waited. I decided I would wait until I was back in Omaha and have my original plastic surgeon who injectedy botox do my lips. Omaha came and went and I ended up not having time to get them done while I was there. My next venture was Kansas City and I was hell bent with a few days downtime just around the corner to get them done there. I started a week ago doing research in KC and Overland Park KS. and found a med spa that a smart lipo physician owned. Bingo.. The doctor also administered juvederm. I didn't want a nurse or a tech touching my face. I didn't just want a doctor, I wanted a "artist" that would take his time and sculpt my new lips with the needle and product. I found him! I got in rather quickly yesterday. The staff was courteous although I can't rated them on much more. I had no questions, as I had already done ALL the research. My wait wasn't long but seemed like eternity with my boyfriend staring (glaring) at me making it so very uncomfortable. The doctor came out himself and got me. We talked briefly, I showed him pics of my 22 year old lips and of the Cupids Bow and level of "pout" I was looking for. We decided Juvederm over. Few other products and he slopped on a white numbing agent all over my lips. He stayed in the room the ten minutes we waited for my face to be numb enough for the procedure. He brought me ice to use during the procedure. I was laid back in the chair and he started. I will admit it was uncomfortable at times... If you have ever bit your lip, it's similar. He began on the top lip working the vermillion border... Several sticks were necessary but he really took his time to make sure everything was even. He massages the product in to even it all out. He stopped, handed me a mirror and the difference I saw was exactly what I had anticipated!! A fuller more pouty top lip with Cupid's bow definition. He then had me apply ice for a few minutes before moving on to to bottom. This was a little different because it was more filling than defining. I could feel the product going into my lip.. So weird but I also felt it working. There were a few sensitive injections on the bottom. He massaged and gave me a mirror. I was satisfied with using one full syringe. If I want more, I will go back. I was sent on my way with instructions for no extreme physical activity for 4 hrs. Ice it as needed. Don't sleep on my face. Okay easy enough. Now this is where I expected the worst after all my reading, watching and gawking. The swelling and bruising.. I expected pain. Last night I went to dinner and had tacos and hot wings, wearing great lipgloss. My lips were sore but no major swelling and only one bruise in the bottom right corner. I slept comfortably through the night and woke up at 5am. I've tried to follow the don't look at them for a few days rule... Yea, no. I've peeked a few times and taken a few selfies. I'm not obsessing though. I will wait til Friday for any freak outs. I can feel knots but I don't think its product I think it's swelling at the injection sites. Similar to bumping your lip on the coffee table. They are not freakishly uneven nor are they over stuffed sausages. So far I'm very happy with the outcome. I plan to update this through the next few days. I'm doing this review for the woman/men like me that research. That want to know someone's real experience, who want the real details from a stable and educated standpoint. I looked for that online quite a bit and didn't see a lot of it. I will be back tomorrow xo my photos will begin with before.. During .. And end with several days of "after" if it lets me upload them over the next few days. The first photo is of my 22 year old fullness I wanted to get back (dr giggled and said of need two syringes for that) Updated on 15 Sep 2014: Hey guys sorry it's been a minute.. I'm going to post a few more pics today (day 6) I had a experience I didn't expect. I got sick (vomitting) on night 3 lips still a bit swollen from injections and I bruised, badly.. I guess from the blood vessels being sensitive :-( but although I look like a domestic violence victim I still love them. I'll post a few pics but don't let them scare you! Lol... Post again once bruising is gone ???? Updated on 15 Sep 2014:

Smart Lipo 2 1/2 Areas: Love Handles, Lower Abs and Partial Upper Abs - Overland Park, KS

I had a kid 6 years ago and gained 100 pounds during my pregnancy. I went from 130 to 233 and I am now 165 it has taken me a while to maintain this body weight so I'm moving forward. My body is so different and I just want a little piece of it back. I have scheduled my treatment the day before mothers day :) present to self. I am having my love handles, lower abs, and partial upper abs done. The doctor follows up with zerona treatments and he's the only person in the area that does so that was the biggest reason I decided on this place. I like that it is non invasive but I'm nervous about being awake but happy I don't have to pay to have someone knock me out. This just seems like the most cost effective thing to do so I hope I have good results. I will post before and after pictures soon Updated on 12 May 2012: On my way to get er done another update by tomorrow. I'm supposed to be there at 7:30 am and they have me scheduled until 2 Updated on 16 May 2012: Okay so the place I've gone too is pretty awesome. Dr. Chambon is the person who did the procedure, his wife which is a nurse assisted, and his daughter who is a nurse also assisted. Given that they were a family I think it made me feel way more comfortable. The dr would get done with one area and he would tell his daughter go get your mom and she would come in there and tell him if she thought it looked good. Sometimes she would tell him to do some more in certain areas. It was nice to have a second pair of eyes who wasn't afraid to tell the dr what she thought. It was very cool. After the procedure his wife gave me her cell number and told me if I needed anything to call her. The first night was the WORST. After the procedure I was still feeling pretty good so I told my sister to stop at Subway and I got a veggie delight and brought it home and ate it. I went to sleep after my sister left. When I woke up I felt sick and ended up throwing up. I didn't know if that was normal so I called Jenny (the doctor’s wife) and she let me speak with the dr he told me that was normal as long as it was only once and it was. He told me not to eat anything to just drink water. I also thought I had a lot of drainage but he said and I agreed he had to use extra numbing on me I soaked like 3 pads but only drained that first night. THANK GOODNESS I have one of those mattress pads that doesn't allow liquid to get on the bed and most the blood did come out of the mattress pad. It was nice being able to call the doctor or his wife when I was nervous. okay so the 2nd day was mother’s day. I got up and took a shower but many times I had to sit down in the bathtub as I was getting the bandages off because I would get a little light headed. After I got out my mom help me put my garment back on after I put band aids on all my incisions with antibiotic ointment. After that I did go out to eat with my son and mom. The third day I went to my son's field day which would require a little walking but for the most part I sat down and took pictures. That night I took my garment off and there was so much tape that I couldn't get off from the day before it was awful. I just had to rub the tape off. Then I went and took a shower. On the 4th day I slept and relaxed most of the day and went grocery shopping but took it pretty easy. Today is the 5th day. I had cellulite really bad in my tummy from it stretching a million miles when I was pregnant and I can tell all of that is gone it is a little poochy but is smooth which is what I wanted. The biggest difference I can tell right now is my love handles, they look really good. I go in in 2 days for a follow up. So far so good. The biggest thing that has bothered me is this dang garment I have to ware which as of yesterday I can get on by myself now. Will give some photo's soon. Updated on 25 May 2012: It has been 13 days since surgery. I should get my before pictures from the doctor emailed to me by next week so I can post them since they are better. I have lost 2 inches around my waist. The love handles are awesome. I would like my belly to look a little better but overall I am really happy. Updated on 27 May 2012: It has been 15 days so I have stopped waring my garment at night. While I have it on I don't really notice how tender and lumpy I am. Doctor says the lumpy helps with tightening. I have done 2 zerona treatments. I guess I was supposed to be doing 3 a week and one of the people scheduled me for once a week I think there was a miscommunication about the days I work but they gave me extra treatments for the inconvience and I am scheduled for 3 a week this week and next. I'm excited that I am dropping pant sizes. One of my sides feels like it has more of a curve than the other but I could be overanalyzing.. I regardless am very happy and will continue with results! Updated on 30 May 2012: I went to wof an amusement park yesterday.. not the best idea or at least I should have stayed away from some of the rollercoasters today I am very swollen. Staff said to drink plenty of water so I'm taking it easy today and drinking lots of water. Updated on 23 Jun 2012: I've been meaning to update this.. I am a size 8!!! I can't believe it. .this is the smallest I've been since I got pregnant over 6 years ago... sure my body isn't perfect or even close to the way it was but I feel good about it and it's been a long time since I could say that.. I was a size 12 before surgery.. I have lost a little over 5 lbs I had lost 40 before the surgery.. I'm still tender in areas but my doctor lets me continue with the zerona treatments and they're real good at seeing me through my progress.. Updated on 27 Jun 2012: Okay so I have the pictures from the doctor that I am uploading Updated on 17 Jun 2013: Still the best choice I ever made. It doesn't look as tight as when I first did it but for the first time in 7 years I've kept the weight off for a year. I love what I did for myself :)

OMG, OMG, OMG - Overland Park, KS

I am 51 years old, fairly active and have always taken pretty good care of myself. As a devoted fan of botox and juvederm, I have a youthful look. Even when I was in good shape though, my hips and thighs were always very, "sturdy," looking. Due to an incredible amount of stress and significant life changes over the past two years, I put on almost forty pounds. The more I gained, the more depressed I became. I felt fat and desperate. I tried to change my eating habits but did not have the patients to wait weeks to see results. So... Yesterday, I had smart lipo on my outer thighs, love handles and bra line. Wow! I walked into the clinic yesterday morning, wearing my very tight, size 14, "fat," jeans. When I left the procedure, even with swelling and thick bandages, my jeans were so loose I could take them off without unbuttoning and unzipping them! I am told that over the coming weeks, I will continue to get smaller as the swelling goes down. My goal is to look better in my clothes. I swear, even with the thick bandages my hips and thighs have NEVER looked so smooth and sculpted! And I have my waistline back! My husband was waiting for me in the waiting room and when I walked in, he couldn't believe the transformation. O.k... Yes, it's messy and uncomfortable. Last night the leaking was significant and gross but normal. And yes, this morning I woke up feeling like I had been hit with a sledge hammer in my hips and thighs. They are bruised so it definitely hurts when I move but again, this is to be expected. I took one oxycodon last night before I went to bed and slept like a rock, which was good. I took another one this morning. Hopefully, I won't have to take anymore but if I'm still sore, I will take one more before bed tonight. Also, last night before I went to bed, I opened up a large trash bag and laid it on my bed, on top of the fitted sheet and used a little duct tape to hold it in place. I put an old blanket over that and then the absorbent pads the doc sent home with me on top of the blanket. I'm so glad I did. Really - the leaking was kind of unbelievable and it was a mess when I woke up this morning. Without the trash bag, my sheets and mattress pad would have been soaked through. It's almost noon now and the leaking is tapering off. Yesterday was a long day at the clinic but I'm glad I did it! I already look so much better that I'm definitely motivated to immediately change the terrible eating habits I've acquired over the last couple of years.

They Caused a Full Thickness Burn on my Chin and I'm Scarred for Life

I came in for an IPL laser treatment on my face for rosacea, and had been a loyal customer for 8 years. On the last laser zap on my chin it really hurt and shortly after started oozing fluid after a large blister formed. I placed numerous calls to Reflections and Jenny who did my treatment would never return my calls. A front desk attendant called me and asked me to come in and meet with Dr. Chambon. When I did he proceeded to tell me it was not their fault but mine as they recorded in my chart that I had recently used Retin A, which was not true. They didn't have any intention of helping me whatsoever. What followed was months of burn treatments, doctors visits, and plastic surgery to reduce the scarring. Needless to say none of it worked and I am left with permanent scarring on my face.

Gregory Chambon, MD
Response from Dr.Gregory Chambon, MDYour chin was healing nicely & did not have any indication of a scar. Your before picture proves that. Settings used for your Txt were the same on face & chin. You opted to not inform us on the REQUIRED pre-txt sheet-that you used a cream that can cause burning to the skin. We saw you 6 times after your txt & returned numerous phone calls. You were treated with full respect. I find it sad that you need to talk negatively when we have not heard anything from you in almost 4 years. Dr. Chambon

Horrible Hair Results!

Horrible hair results! I spent almost $15,000 on neo-graft hair restoration and these are my results after 22-months when putting my faith in Dr. Chambon and his business Body Reflections Solutions. I’ve went through so much with this place its rather hard to write a concise review but the last appointment I had with Dr. Chambon summed it up nicely. At 22-months I was told they have a ‘no refund policy’ even being told about survival graft guarantees in the high ninety-percentiles during our first consultation which made me feel comfortable about shelling out a huge sum of money. Following this statement the only thing they could offer was a ‘reduced rate’ on further hair transplant surgery. So his solution was for me to give him more money - wow. I’ve consulted with other hair surgeons getting estimates as high as 2,500 FUE’s when mind you Reflections Body Solutions used somewhere around 3,200 FUE’S – FUE for follicle unit extraction. There are so many things I learned from this nightmare ordeal which I didn’t consider which I’d like to pass on. If you are reading this review you are considering an intense solution to combat hair loss because it bothers you to the sum of thousands of dollars. Consider how you will feel if you have results like mine and have lost a huge sum of money. Will your hair concerns be less? I can attest to God if I must my concerns are greater than before. To take this one step further what if you spend the sum of money I did and stem-cell hair growth is just around the corner? Which will be laughably less cheap and the results most likely will be far greater. Thank you for taking the time to read my review, sincerely I hope it helps.

Gregory Chambon, MD
Response from Dr.Gregory Chambon, MDJoe, I appreciate the comments & the ability to set the record straight. Your correct 22 month P/O picture has been posted to our Real Self page , not the 6 mo. one that you posted. We have had 3-5 patients where it took almost 2-3 years to obtain their results. Shock loss, stress, slow growth and/or slow healing. It was discussed you still HAVE ACTIVE growth. I suggested the option of a 2nd procedure, however I did NOT ask you for ANY MONEY. I suggested a later follow up appt,, you declined.
