They Caused a Full Thickness Burn on my Chin and I'm Scarred for Life

Inkkat2002
I came in for an IPL laser treatment on my face for rosacea, and had been a loyal customer for 8 years. On the last laser zap on my chin it really hurt and shortly after started oozing fluid after a large blister formed. I placed numerous calls to Reflections and Jenny who did my treatment would never return my calls. A front desk attendant called me and asked me to come in and meet with Dr. Chambon. When I did he proceeded to tell me it was not their fault but mine as they recorded in my chart that I had recently used Retin A, which was not true. They didn't have any intention of helping me whatsoever. What followed was months of burn treatments, doctors visits, and plastic surgery to reduce the scarring. Needless to say none of it worked and I am left with permanent scarring on my face.

Response from Dr. Chambon:
Your chin was healing nicely & did not have any indication of a scar. Your before picture proves that. Settings used for your Txt were the same on face & chin. You opted to not inform us on the REQUIRED pre-txt sheet-that you used a cream that can cause burning to the skin. We saw you 6 times after your txt & returned numerous phone calls. You were treated with full respect. I find it sad that you need to talk negatively when we have not heard anything from you in almost 4 years. Dr. Chambon

I hope that you consulted an attorney. It's illegal to put something in a patient's chart like using Retin A if you never used it.
